Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Do I want to be perfect?
- define perfection

According to The Borg [ala Star Trek]
The term perfection means everyone shares a likemindedness that is like that of ants, we eat sleep work at the same time, retire and have another group continue the work at 24 hours, non-stop, where a harmonious endless production cycle that allows the creatures to be constantly in a state of objectified actions that leads to a certain production.

In that case, hell no, I am not dedicating myself to be a force of a million ants.

If you mean perfect as in the princess of high school etc etc...
I guess, who doesn't want to be the jock who can bed every single simple minded high school supermodel ?

hahahahah...

In the case of everyone becoming perfect, I don't think it is a good idea, if everyone is perfect, nobody is.

So to answer your question

1) I doubt i wanna be perfect... Being perfect would make the current world seem boring. There would probably be no satisfaction in doing anything since you're already good at it..

2) Errmm what is a perfect world? A world with no wars? No discrimination? Of course those would be good. But if the world was perfect, there would be no need for us, imperfect humans, to live in it.

I don't want to be perfect.
Being perfect would ultimately mean being like all others, thinking alike. But the small things that make me different from others - I like them. I like to stand out in something, not just be a little piece of something big, the whole population.

Although I want all my items to be perfect, at least in my eyes. No scratches, etc.

Being better at certain things doesn't make you any closer to being perfect. Everyone has their own strengths and weakness after all. The nerd we see excelling in all his studies can barely have the strength to throw the ball into that darned basket, for example.

You have to recognise that there will be something that we aren't great at, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Accept that fact and move. If you're bad at sciences, ditch it when you get the the chance and pursue something you might be much better at, music perhaps.

But yes, we should strive for perfection, for that will help us improve and spur us on. However that has to have a limit too. We need to know when to take a step back and acknowledge that we've tried our best, and to hell with the results.

Realistically, we all want to be perfect. Although we do like to believe that we accept ourselves as being not perfect, it is foolish to say that perfection never lingers in our minds. in our minds we live in the rugged individualism, where we can be proud of our own differences and uniformity is our rival. We try not to be perfect, but end up being perfect by not.
To understand perfection, I believe that we understand what it means to be perfect. Perfect does not just mean flawless, but within its several definitions, perfect is
Webster Dictionary
corresponding to an ideal standard or abstract concept.
Perfection is the ideal of satisfaction within our own lives. While some may claim that they have never been satisfied by life, I do beg to contradict them. No matter the person, we have all either satisfied by our current position in life or how we change the way our live to make it satisfied.

Well I'm not sure until I see it. First of all, having a perfect world seems a bit unrealistic...but then again, we all constantly wish for unrealistic things, like no more war/fighting...I guess that would be one criteria for a perfect world is no wars, and a perfect world could mean that nobody ever dies, but then again we'd suffer from overpopulation and starvation of earth's resources like water and air, then it wouldn't be a perfect world anymore...yeah, there's no such thing as a perfect world.

Well, I kind of want to reply to the "perfect world?" part first, so here goes. It isn't so much the world would be boring if it were perfect, it is that the world would become static. Essentially if some ideal perfection were to be achieved, everything would become motionless and time would stop. Also, perfection isn't an objective standard, so it is particularly hard to define, especially within one's own self. Say the world's top violinist, could they stop practicing? If they had achieved perfection, they would in that essence. However, their view of the perfection of their profession is different from say, me, who has never picked up a violin. It is particularly difficult to set realistic guidelines to an abstract concept, but to me perfection seems something more to keep you in motion as a distant ideal of what you wish to achieve rather than something you can actually reach. Well, I think I started rambling, so that is it for now.

What if we already are perfect?

I mean would you know what perfect is if you saw it? I think no1 can imagine perfection just like people cant imagine more than 4 dimensions.

1: If being perfect would make one perfectly happy (so thats perfect to ones own standards), then of course i'd want to be perfect, i doubt any1 here woulndt want to be achieve ultimate and infinite happines.
People who answered no here probably thought of perfect as a way-of-being thought up by some1 else in some book or tv-show.

2: In a perfect world every1 would be happy. simple.^^ How this happines takes form i can't imagine.

I hate perfection, therefore I don't want to be perfect.

If everyone was perfect, no one would be special or original, we'd all live in a boring, stupid world. And I agree, pretty much what everyone else said, too.

I would love to see "perfection" defined as a world with no descrimination, no war, etc but like everyone said, it's impossible. But if you are saying to pretend it is possible, I still think it would lead to other problems. Perfection is unatainable like they said.

everyone is perfect until you discover their flaws.

I dont know who said that but it sounds very wise..U_U
But anywho, everyone has their own idea of perfection depending on what they want in life and what they think is right and admirable. Everyone's perfect is different, and while someone may be perfect for someone else; they may not be perfect for some other people. Having the perfect life can come in all different shapes and sizes, and its all different to everyones' unique self.

As far as we know; the world could be perfect right now...In someone's eyes(o_o) emoticon

Personally I try to do the best I can at everything. I try to perfect everything I do and I feel satisfied when I complete a game at 100% instead of just beating the game. I'm glad I'm not perfect though. Being perfect means you aren't unique. If everyone was perfect we'd all be the same. There would be no true love because how can you love someone who's not unique?

If the world were perfect I wouldn't enjoy the world. Disappointments happen to everyone and without these you can't become a better person. Part of maturing and becoming who you are stems from disappointments and how you deal with them. In a perfect world there would be no disappointments and nothing to help you evolve into who you are today.

As humans most people aim to be perfect. Let's keep that as an aim and enjoy are uniqueness.
