If zaraki kenpachi were to release his sword and use bankai, would he be the strongest in the bleach series? cause hes pretty strong without it. i believe that he would be the strongest
Yamamoto would probably still be the strongest, though Aizen may be a close runner up.

Well, some people think that Kenpachi doesn't even need to release his Zanpakutoh. It's true that he has the greatest reiatsu ever, as powerful as Aizen and Yama-jii (or even more), but he's not taking advantage of the special abilities his sword could have, and that's exactly the difference between him and the those two.
So, by any chance if he releases his Zanpakutoh we'll have to see what kind of abilities it has. When that time comes, it will be a revolution in Bleach. I hope we'll get to see it.

Hmm remember yumichika saying that the 11th squad hates people who have kidoh based zanpakto? what if zaraki's release is kidoh based? That would be interesting. But on topic, i think it would take a crazy force to make zaraki whip out his bankai (assuming he has it) since zaraki - eyepatch = total ownage

Zaraki doesnt have his shikai or bankai .....ok maybe his shikai because when he last fought ichigo he asked his sword its name but got no reply so i guess hes still working on it.
i somehow have a felling that the reason that we haven't seen it yet is because its going to be aizens cryptonite as kenpatchi doesn't even need to see his opponents or hear them to win (therefor aizens shikai is no use, proof is his fight against tousen who went all out against him and lost even thought he only had the sense of touch he couldn't even hear him)
i think kenpatchis shikai will play a major part in the story line some time down the track

Kenpachi may release his shikai as it currently seems his the removal of his eye patch may not be enough to give him the strength he needs in the current fight he is involved in
Kenpachi will never be able to release his zanpakuto, because he always fights his own battles alone, and a released zanpakuto isn't just a tool, it's a companion that fights with you and lends its powers to you. Although he does wish for his zanpakuto's name, he probably only does this because he wants to get stronger and not know truly what it means to know the name of ones zanpakuto.
If he were ever to know his zanpakuto's name and release it, it would mean that he would first have to change the very person he grew up to be and become up till now. Witch I doubt he'll do.
Besides, a Kenpachi with a Bankai would just be too strong in bleach where he could singlehandedly kill all the baddies and end the story prematurely :P

Umm... if you guys haven't already noticed, or you guys are really ignorant Zaraki Kenpachi already carries a released zanpaktou, and you guys are wasting your time hypothesising over nothing.
Some of you have mentioned companions and all this other rubbish but the truth is Kenpachi has a released zanpaktou and doesn't know its name.

I'm pretty sure ALI3Nthat if you bothered to read chapter 109 page 16-17 that is all the evidence right there. I urge everybody now to go to the those two pages on any manga hosting site such as onemanga, and watch as ali3n gets told off, and this discussion can be closed. Hello guys, this quote appear on episodes 38 and 39..., soul slayer is in shikai form with no way of reverting because of a large amount of reiatsu.
