Uhm I really enjoyed Elfen Lied and Loveless [still airing.. only 3 more episodes! =(]. Elfen Lied for it's unique plot and the fact that the first episode really grabs your attention what with heads flying off people within the first few minutes. @_@" Loveless mainly for it's art. >

Yikes, another tough question to answer. ^^ I would say the best animes I seen so far (as of lately) would be Mai Hime and D.N Angel. Mai Hime starts out interesting and there are a lot of mysterious characters. It gets really dark as time goes by, but it does it in a really interesting way.
DN Angel is just so kawaii in so many ways. But like Mai Hime, it has interesting twists.

I would say Vision of Escaflowne cause it's got a mix of everything.

*squee* Me too! Soubi is so pretty~
Anywhoo, despite my current Loveless obsession, I'd have to say Yakitate! Japan is the best series I've seen in a while. It's one of those animes that I can't wait till the next episode airs. I've resorted to downloading raws because the translations take too much time. ^^;
Mai/My Hime, Air, and Fruits Baskets. Mai/My Hime was amazing!
Favourite animes currently airing:
1.) Bleach - who doesn't love bleach? I started watching Bleach anime at first, and got more addicted and read the manga as well. Love the story, plot, everything.
2.) Honey & Clover - definately one of those anime that I will remember. Something about this anime really catches my attention, and I love it from head to toe. Music, characters, story, animation, EVERYTHING. It IS SIMPLY AWESOME. I recommend anyone to try it. I was doubtful when I first watched it, but really, it's GOOD.
3.) Ah! My Goddess - Goddesses = yay.
Favourite anime:
My-HiME could've been good, really. I liked all the episodes, especially the last 2. However, they decided to go easy on the audience and the ending was pretty lame. It was kind of wasted, IMO.
School Rumble is good. The animation is lacking, but I guess the humour makes up for it.
Here goes my Gundam-obsession again, but Zeta Gundam is definately the best Gundam series ever made.

Well I read more manga then anything else, but as of right now I'd say Tsukuyomi ~ Moon Phase ~. I don't really know why, there's just something about it I like (besides the nicely done art). Runner up would be Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Because, well, it's Ghost in the Shell. What else needs to be said?
Samurai 7 and fruitsbasket.

Naruto, Juuni Kokki, wolf's rain and last i think samurai champloo is a good one too
I havent really completed watching a lot of anime, and I was too young to completely understand EVA back when I first watched it, so I can't really say its my favourite.
Uhm... I'd say THE best anime series that I have watched (I've only watched less than 20 series' so far), I'd have to say BLEACH. Although it has its bad points (fight scenes? non-existant) it focuses more on the plot and story, and those two surpass most of what I've watched. Maybe because I keep watching comedic anime, like Shinobuden or Azumanga.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien and Onegai Twins were probably the most engaging >.> But my favourites are Full Metal Alchemist and Serial Experiments Lain.
