I really need some opinion on this :(
Ok you damn high resolution screen bastar**!! just kidding
well after lotta people sayin there resolutin was big and my wall was small i decided to make a high res wall.
working on 1024X768 screen i cant really tell much about quality.
so could someone tell me if this is ok?
also to the left i know it looks empty, i dont know wat to do there. leave it as it is or not?
the picture is a bit grainy but i did that intentionally to make it look more like a wall <--not wallpaper a wall you know bricks XD
anyway id really appreciate any advice and comments. the brick wall may not b so good its my first time doing this so yeh heres the pic.

I love the idea and the look to this wall. The only thing that I think needs fixing is to get the noise filte out of the black parts and that the bricks look a little too smooth in my opinion. I think I would like it better if the wall looked more realistic. Very good idea behind this wall, good work.
Thank you
now that you mention it the brick wall looks smooth. so i added the grains.
maybe sharpening the wall on new layer mit do the trick
anyway thanks. ill post as soon as i work on this.
btw anyone know of any sites with brick textures?
oh and if you still hav anything to say dont hesitate. more comments are always welcome
iwas thinking of putting ppls name on the left side, so it looks like evryone who drew the pic on the wall tagged their names.

I liked the idea too, the wall is nice ;)
the character is sipossed to look like it's painted on the wall (the wall...the bricks...you know) ??
is you could make it more like painted on the wall it would look so great, really...
if you're going for that, remember that the draw gets kind of distorted between the bricks...
i'll be waiting for this one ;)
good luck !

Yaay for graffit!
but a big tip would be to distort the text... when you choose text option in PSCS there is a button on top that looks like a T with a curved line under it...choose that and youll get to stylize your text to make it more funky! which is what i think this needs
not only distorting the text, but change each letter to a different font size because no tagger likes their text neatly spaced and such....
the brick is a little blurry, or is that just me?
you should look at real tags on walls to get some inspirations..which is what i did for my Disgea wall in my gallery
usually graffiti signitures are closer to the actual artwork itself...along with stylized text...you might want to incorporate a nice sig around your main text because its what they do. gotta reprezent!

Ok i made the wall un-smooth.
i think this makes it maybe more real wall.
MTL thanks for the tps, tru the taggers leave their name close the main pic. i might hav to do something like that.
ok ill hav a look at your wall MTL, still more work to b done here but how is the wall looking now?
wall
ok next the text, and sig..hmm thanks a lot you guys.
back to work -_-" :D

I have the same basic opinion as the others, nice wallpaper and creative, just fix the noise.
Ok, so I've seen at least two attempts on brick bg wallpapers, and that's... well, just weird for me; I know that it's quite inspirational to graffiti and all, but you can do that in a city background, maybe some kind of industrial place, a forgotten alley, something other than bricks; the other stuff looks good, and if you're keeping the bg, do fix the noise, 'cause it just looks... well, bad right now, maybe monochromatic noise would be better. (and I have to insist, try thinking up some other bg, play around with some brushes, maybe a dark bg would look better, I dunno, just think about it, ok?)
-btw, if I offended you, your work, or anyone/anything please let me know, I tend to get carried away sometimes, with what I call "brutal honesty"-

Whell nm to say more, put some more creativity in it. maybe also in the wall and fix that noise. snowinhart has some good points so pay attention and fix it
can we fix it? YES YOU CAN
can we fix it? YES YOU CAN
LOl not at all.
infact i rather get told off for a shit wall than "good work"
honesty is good but only if the person can handle it XD lol dw im that kinda person :P
now thats a great idea!!instead of focusing on this brick wall. i could make a whole alley and incorporate this there. then maybe on the other side a similar style pic of sephiroth with another crew. LOL i am getting carried away ill just stick to fixin up the noise and the text and bricks for now.
Thanks a lot for the great advice guys :D and the honesty my good frind Snowingheart :P

I love it
Ok after a lot of work and fist slamming i fianlly managed to make the wall realistic.
if this brick isnt good then frankly im gonna flush my self down the loo :P or not.
but yeh the only thing im worrid about is how to achive the painted on the wall look.
does this do that?

as far as the distortion go in between the bricks i did my best. does it need to b distorted more?
ill let you judge. btw this is just the basic perspective. ill b transforming this but thats later right now im tired.
please let me know your thoughts. thank you^^

It looks good. The bricks are fine as far as i know. maybe add a bit more 'stuff'/brush effects on the wall like texturing and other small bits and stuff. jsut on the wall tho, cause everything else is fine. Goodluck!
Well after another long night its un update^^
i hav distorted in between the bricks, not quite sure if i got them perfectly though.
the text is now distorted as well and different size. except the subheading i kept the font size same but used different options for the words.
also i decided to make a alley in which this graff is in so changed perspective.
the white space is where the road will be.
ill need to work on that but first i just wanted some comments nd critics on my progress so far.
Thank you in advance, every little bit helps

It looks nicee... thats really cool.. the character is really on the wall. unlike the others.. they just put the character there.. and put the brick thing on top of it.. and change the blending mode.. im just confused about that white thing on the bottom.. whats that supposed to be?? is that like a street? then theres a wall there.. and the white thing is the ground? if yes.. you should make it gray.. and add some texture to it so it would look like a ground.. and im not liking wat you did to the text.. it looks crazy.. you distorted it too much.. dont you think? its not readable.. and it looks really messy... and i dont know where your signature is.. its good.. so far.. good job! ^___________________________^
