What a terrible ending.25 episodes yet 26 was originally planned.
The final episode never made it onto tv because of financial problem.

OK I need to correct you. The final episode was never planned and cancelled due to financial trouble.

If you know or have been following the manga you'll find out that the creator of the manga is so slow I mean real slow when it comes to thinking up new ideas that the anime caught up with the manga, and wasn't able to proceed further.

The anime was started when the manga was at volume 11, after 25 episodes the manga was at volume 13. That's bloody slow. The manga is currently at volume 32 and it's not worth continuing the anime until the manga has been completed imo.

If you're a fan of the anime give the manga a try, I'm sure you enjoy it.

But Berserk is old, how can it still be in production. I guess the creator is as slow as you say he is. I think his name Kentarou Miura

You're right about the name of the creator of berserk. I think he's either enjoying life and taking time off, cos this is the only project he's working on. I think he worked on a few others but has cancelled those and is concentrating on Berserk. Hope he starts to work faster, cos he hasn't done enough especially over that long period of time.
