Just as the title says: there's a war going on. What would you bring out first? A bow that shoots arrows of light? A sword that can freeze the hottest of volcanoes? Or maybe even bust out a twelve-barreled chaingun and shred everything in sight? The more creative, the better~

Me, I'd probably use a sword-staff with a vein of crystal running along the back end of the blade...and be able to cast spells with it on the fly

I've always wanted something heavy and long-bladed that I can bash people's brains with. XD Like a really long hammer...Only not that heavy, because then I wouldn't be able to lift it. :P
Although it'd also be really nice to have an omni-powered weapon that could wipe everyone else out in a sec. End of war. I never liked wars, anyway. :)

You didn't define what type of war and what age...futuristic? Ancient? Fantasy? Or something like a Final Fantasy world?

If its the current weapons we would have, I wanna use either a m4a1 carbine or a ak-74, with the USP with suppressor as a sidearm.

I don't really like wars, just war games like Counter-Strike or StarCraftXD

Well if i was limited to current technology...there's too many to choose from. I'm a fan of high caliber weapons so, to start off with probably a Colt Anaconda and a Barrett M82 (or 107 if i'm allowed the military issue). Then a couple of shotties, Franchi SPAS 15 and SPAS 12. Automatic Rifles....SIG 552 or a Steyr Aug. As for semiauto handguns, probably a UPS or a GLOCK 20. Then blades - a katana and a good 'ol broadsword. But if i had to carry all this stuff, I'd probably die pretty fast. So I'd stick with a USP with lots of extra ammo and a short blade.

Meh, I'll go mental, and strap myself with C-4 bombs, anyone who gets near me it's BOOM! LOL, jokes.

Weapon? What about psychic abilities, invisibility or walk-through-walls? Those would be very useful in war. Otherwise, I'd be happy to stick to dual ended swords and gun combination. Not forgetting magic-fused bullets.

Anyways, going with the probability of today's war or futuristic I'd like a combination of long distance and short combat weapons. I'd like something similar to the psi blades of the protoss in starcraft, basically bracers for your arms with blades that come out it. That's for close range, but far range, I'd like the bracer to have been modified in a way that it can be used as a high propulsion rifle, I guess I'm too imaginative ^^

Close range: Heckler and Koch HK416 10" barrel, with EoTech holosight, verticle grip, and flashlight.

Mid range: Steyr AUG A1 20" barrel.

Long range: Springfield Armory M14 with EBR stock, bipod, and a nice scope.

Sidearm: Sig Sauer P226 with flashlight.

Backup: Walther P99.

While I think using a handgun would be kinda sexy, I need something that I know I could hit with, since I'm pretty clumsy. Probably a thin bladed sword, that way I could slash with it from a decent distance, be able to lift it (I have no upper body strength ) and be able to go all willy-nilly.

I'll recreate the portable lightweight ultra-accurate sniper rifles that only exist in video games that are re loadable in a split second.

Guns ?? who need guns when you can have gundam. strike gundam is my weapon of choice...no one can beat me if i have that muahahhahahahah
