problem w/ home site and walls
1 Page: [ 1 ]
I've been experiencing this for awhile now; not exactly sure how long though. When I visit the home page to AnimePaper, I can only see one wall under top rated and one under recent walls. Also, under recent scans, I don't see anything at all and with the highlighted wall; I can only see the description. I thought this may be the cause of the new v4, but I don't know if any others have brought this subject up.
With wallpapers and downloading them; I can see them when I search through the wallpaper categories, but when I try to download them, it opens in the same window and states that it is "Done" in the bottom status bar of the IE window. However, the image did not download. From the FAQs in this forum category, the only thing that I think may be the problem is that I am not a really active member in the forums. So, I'm not sure what could be wrong.
Thanks if you know what's wrong.

Wow, that is the most original problem I've heard. Maybe you have some secret version of AP that causes you to... only see one top favorite.
I am having a similiar problem. I just reinstalled windows on my laptop and firefox wont display any wallpapers or scans. Not even the top rated. I have no clue what changed, because i didnt change any extentions or settings. What is odd is that ie is doing the same thing so i think it might be something elsewhere on my system. I will keep trying to figure this out, but id welcome any suggestions.
{EDIT} After a couple minites of changing settings and such I determined the problem... By default, zone alarm pro firewall blocks banner ads, and it thought that the walls were banner ads. I simply disabled that feature and the sit appears to be working fine. I hope that you can fix your problem as easily.

I'm pretty sure i have the neweste IE, and i'm still experiencing the same problem. but i haven't tried using firefox, so i'll try that later on today. thanks.
Firewalls. More than often cross browser image rejection is due to firewalls. Hope that helps.
