Okay, for those of you that read Furuba, I have a really weird question. Some of you may have already thought of this, but I was just wondering...

I Takaya-sensei going to pair off Yuki and Kagura? I seriously think that she can, and will. Now, I know for a fact that right now there is a fangirl out there going "NYo! NOT YUUUUUKI!!" And when you comment, as I said, please don't bite my head off, I'm just thinking out loud.

Here's my perspective. Tohru is obviously going to be stuck between Kyo and Yuki. And I, for one, think that she's probobly going to choose Kyo. Kyo's much closer to her, even though she and Yuki have gone on "dates". Kyo, as of Book 6, calls her "Tohru", where as Yuki calls her "Honda-san"

I could be wrong, and she could end up with Yuki. But lets assume that she ends up with Kyo.

Now, Yuki will be obviously very hurt and/or confused if Tohru choosed Kyo over him. Kagura will be very hurt that he fell in love with Tohru, even though she loves him. Kagura can be very...opressive...but she is patient and has waited all these years for her love to be returned - unsucessfully. Tohru is now one of her best - or only - friends and well, lets just say that I know how much that can hurt.

They will both be hurt, and only have one place to go. Only one person will understand.

They've both known each other since they were little, they know each other as they truely are. And, even though Yuki never really ever showns his realy self, Kagura has a gift for being able to see the person within. Thus why she loved Kyo so much, even though he just (physically and metaphorically) pushed her away. She knew that Kyo was really a good person, even though he only showed her hate. Yuki would know that she loved him for more than just his apperance, like the rabid fangirls at school.

Yuki already admires her. He admires how strong she is, if you don't beleive me, reread the part where Yuki talks to Haru in Book 6. She saw what happened with Kyo and Tohru. She saw that Tohru accepted him, ad vice versa. She basically watched as the one that she loved, fell in love with someone else, but she was able to keep smiling. Maybe she was just lying and pretending to smile, and maybe she was planning on pretending that that never happened, but I don't know.

Oh, me and my theories. But my point is, you see that it just might be possible to pull this off. Natsuki Takaya loves to throw you for a loop, and well, this would.

Or maybe this is just all in my head. Oh well, it'll still make for a good fanfic if nothing else. I was just thinking about this as I was going to sleep. Tell me what you think, but don't flame, I'm just throwing things out there.

I think that is possible (But why is this thread in AnimePaper? It belongs in MangaPaper. ^^;). And as you said, Takaya likes to put in twists. Remember the Akito incident? *shudder*

Kagura and Yuki's personalities also compliment each other. Insane, spastic, and violent meets calm, collected, and well, calm. XD I like your thinking.

That's very, very possible. The twists in the manga are always so... unexpected. Although I guess it would make sense, and I'm pretty sure Tohru's going to chose Kyou by now. Kagura and Yuki would be an interesting twist, if not slightly strange. But there's also that student council girl who shows up later (I don't know her name). I wonder how she fits into the equation.

But...

It's too bad I'm still a die hard Yuki+Tohru and Kyou+Kagura fan, so I shall remain in denial about everything. XD

Lol. I think the student council girls' name is Motoko, not sure. I'm not real sure how she would fit into the equasion either...hm...I don't know.

Haha. I'm a supporter of just about every couple out there when it comes to Furuba. Mostly KyoxTohru, but also YukixTohru, HaruxYuki(I call it Haruki XD), ShigurexAyame, ShigurexMayuko, AyamexMine, KisaxHiro, and now YukixKagura. There are probobly more that I can't think of now.

I guess I'm just open to things of all kind XD

Well, anything is possilbe since there's tones of volumes. It's a bit obvious that Tohru will end up with Kyo. Yuki, might just be alone but yuo never know, he might end up with Kagura(i hope so)^^

Well I've never thought about that, I mean Yuki and Kagura together... I've already told myself that Tohru is going to end up with Kyo. But Yuki and Kagura? I really can't picture those two together!(not because I'm his fangirl or something, just because I can't see them together at all) I've always imagined Yuki alone, or maybe someone new is going to appear because as far as I know, I don't see any character that fits him. But that's just my opinion :) Imagination is always a good thing.

Umm, gosh, I have one question for Diddles-chan. Did you read a lot of the manga? as in...until the nearly end? I mean if not, then you are one sharp person ^^'. Okay. rewind.
My friend has the chinese version of it, meaning that she's soooo lucky , MEANING that she kinda read all of it. but maybe there's more? According to her (and another friend) there's about 20+ (22?) books.

He does see Tohru as a very very dear friend (nearly like a mother's touch T.T) but obviously they both work out their true feelings toward each other and Tohru chooses Kyo. Now about Yuki's relationship, he meets another girl that appears waaaaaaaaay later in the serie. okay, no more telling...
But *grins*, you were so right about Tohru and Kyo, but Yuki X Kagura?
Let's say that your theory about this couple might be a secret wish...ne? ^__^

Yuki x Kagura... doubtful. There's not even a hint towards that, ever.

If you've only read up through 6 so far... there's a whole lot more that you haven't even gotten to yet. Read up ^_^, heck you haven't even touched on the red hat very much. 10 was just released states-side.

hm... kyo x tohru huh? interesting. I too has always thought that they'd leave us hangin lol. I hav wanted her to go with him < personally because I'm a Kyo the cat fan. kyo rocks!
