Which anime irritates you most?

I'm curious to know if anyone else has an anime they loath/are annoyed with. The anime that irritates me is Chrno Crusade [no offense to the people who like it, of course]. Chrno Crusade contains a gun-toting "<i>nun</i>", nuns who flirt, and nun(s) who wear skimpy outfits. ¬_¬ I'm kinda offended. It's not about the story-line. Me being a religious-nuts kinda person, I want to become a nun when I get older. This show mocks Catholics especially nuns, no matter how fake it is or whether it's an anime or not. It's also not a matter of "if you don't like it, then just ignore it and leave it be", it just really offends me and perhaps some other Christians and Catholics. I hope the Vatican never finds out that these people like making anime using religion in the wrong way. I hope people understand the way I feel. XP Oh, by the way, people can't "<i>summon</i>" God's powers, the least someone gifted with powers is to use God's power to heal somebody who has an injury (which is called a miracle). Well anyway, anyone else got a hated anime and or manga? :evil:

Everyone's opinion on using religion in animes varies. Like Gensoumaden Saiyuki which is based on Chinese legends as well as Buddhism. All 4 characters are actual deities in Chinese beliefs and in the anime (actually Genjo Sanzo has the status equal to Gautama Buddha), they are breaking all the moral conducts of Buddhism; killing, drinking, lying, gambling, flirting with girls, etc. Imagine that. Deities whom Buddhists worship in real life doing such things in Saiyuki. However, that doesn't stop me from enjoying the anime itself even though I am a devout Buddhist.

Eva, GitS, Inital D aren't that great to me.. sports anime aren't that appealing to me either..

No...seriously, if you complain like that about Chrno Crusade why don't you try <b>"Hellsing"</b>! There is actually a priest wearing gloves with <b>SPEAK WITH DEATH</b> written on it. His phrases are like "You damn son of a bitch, I'll kill you next time" and stuff <!--emo&:o--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' /><!--endemo-->! Besides of his weird taste for clothing and his ability to regenerate he prefers to kill with oversized daggers, which even cut through metal. And on top of that he wears a cross. Cough, that priest also throws around with bibles '_'
Speaking of bibles, there is a famous series, called Bible Black...err no, let's stop this x_x Ask Tal for more info.

Chill out dude. No need for harsh openings. Everyone has their right to like or not like certain animes. Best to keep it civil when discussing such topics especially when religion is involved.

Oi. Basically Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, DBZ, Sailormoon, and I wasn't a huge fan of Silent Mobius either.

I don't *hate* any anime. It's just that they're not my taste. I don't mind an occasional Pokèmon and Beyblade though they repeat a lot. The only thing I really dislike with a passion about anime... is... DUBBING. Man, dubbing is EVIL. The only anime that I'll probably agree about with the dubbing is Hellsing since it's strange to see all the British speak in perfect Japanese. Ha ha.
Dubbing robs the original sound, song and general feel of the characters. Just use SUBS! Like CCS, I can't believe they gave Iwao Junko they voice of... oh my goodness... get her to SHUT UP.

The only series those people did a half decent job is Ranma.. I thought that it was better than any other crap I've heard..

Dragonball Z by far. One enemy is claimed to be the strongest in the universe. Bam, another one comes by who's even stronger. Who saw that one coming?
As for Chrno Crusade, I never really watched it, but I can understand where you're coming from on this one. However, I don't think the creators are doing this to provoke anybody out there of the Christian belief. If anything, the use of nuns and Christianity is just a novel idea. It's something different from other anime nowadays, I suppose.
You know, the very same thing can be said about Evangelion. Anno Hideaki said that the whole Christianity/Judiasm theme (crosses, Adam, Lilith, Red Sea Scrolls) are just novel ideas.
And because of that, I don't think people should be as offended.
