This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

My life long song that i'll never forget is scars by papa roach.
the first time i heard it i cried and now i listen to it everywhere

Hm...I disliked that song, I must say. Just because Papa Roach had finally turned into that typical emo/pop group and it freaked me out when I first learned that that was actually Papa Roach, but if it affects you, then go with it.
Um... I guess mine might be Into the West from the RotK soundtrack, cuz that was a time in my life where I was really happy and at the height of my LotR geekdom and everything was great and stuff. I mean, everything's kind of crapped out since then.
Or maybe Mad World because it was around then I realized I'd turned into an emo/goth and it inspired my turn around. Sure, I'm just an apathetic, cynical, jaded teenager now, but atleast I'm not wearing black lipstick and chains...(oh, no offense if you are, I'm just glad I'm not because I'd have looked stupid. Still own the chains, though...)

I dunno. I don't think I really have a song that's a part of my life or whatever. But I'm not a big music person anyways...

Life long song..... probably the one i least expect from myself.
One Fine Day by The Offspring.
I'm a straight arrow chinese kid, and the one song i think will stay with me for life is about vandalism and drinking and getting busted by the cops. Well then.
I typically had a negative outlook on each day, thinking each day, "please be less crappy than yesterday." Now i'm just chillin' pretty much. I don't do drugs, I behave pretty well, i get straight As, but I'm now the pressure is off. Just whatever goes, I'm fine. Can't make it to Stanford, fine, UT #1 choice for college. Whatever goes.
I really think this song had a lot to do with it. Now i'm around to have a good time.
And you bet when i hit 21 i'll be drinking :p

Have to go two ways:

Sentenced - No One There
It's just shocking. I heard this song for the first time in a french music channel called MSM. The video is so melancholic, that I began to buy their records (a little hard to find in Colombia)

Apocalyptica - Hope
This melody is meant to be as it is called that way. Heard of it six years ago, and if you can love a song... well, I do. About one year later it came with lyrics, sang by Matthias Sayer, almost as great as the original

How can you just have one song for your life? My life has taken many turns for the better and for the worse, and each turn has had its own set of songs. I mean here's a progression of "life" songs (I'm popping this up on the fly):

LONG LONG AGO in middle school: Korn - No Place to Hide
LONG AGO in high school: Live - The Dolphin's Cry
YEARS AGO: The Prodigy - Mindfields
ONE YEAR AGO: Puddle of Mudd - Spin You Around
A WHILE AGO: The Ah! My Goddess TV opening (crap, forgot the name)
LAST AUGUST: James Blunt - Goodbye My Lover (this song literally WAS my life for a couple months)
CURRENLTY: Eh, don't think I have one right now

But this is over simplifying because I'd have to sift through my cd and music collection to remember those few songs that I really related to in some way.

Five For Fighting - 100 Years, A person that I valued loved that song. I haven't listened to it in a while but it'll always be something in the back of my head.

Mine is a peculiar one. I loved it when I heard it at age 12. (1993) It is a Chinese group called "Grasshopper" and the song is titled "So Sad." It isn't a very complicated song, and maybe even a tad bit depressing, but I have always loved it and it has stuck with me. I also like a lot of the old-school Andy Lau songs.

Mine is "Perfect Harmony" by "Within Temptation". It is a wounderful, melancholic song.
It´s one of the song, when you close your eyes, you dream of a silent, harmonic world. It relaxes me in times of trouble and anger.
