I haven't played FFVII but FFVII:AC it's a great movie. Specially the last combat between Cloud and Sephirot: amazing!

The boy with Aerith in the end is Zack, old boy friend of Aerith and he is the best friend of Cloud!

the reason there isnt much part of aerith is because she is dead
and tifa is alive
and i think each of the girls have their own part
so overall final fantasy AC isa great movie

This is hopeless...the story behind ff7 was so overrated and considered to be complex because it leaves holes the size of Texas right in the middle of it...that, combined with the successive installments through other media, create even more holes that are NEVER filled...thus confusing the masses of fanboys to the point where they draw the conclusion that the story is "so complex" and "the best ff evar!!"
here's a thought...why is rufus alive?...did they explain that in the movie?...HELL NO!

The story of ff7 was never tight (though it was miles above their plot attempts for the other ff's. 8 and 9 had ...stories??) The best was probably FFX, in that its story was actually rather well written.
FF7Ac has less to do with the story and more to do with action moments and not-so-subtle nods to fans, with the appearance of every character under the sun. The very fact that ff7's story was so vague lets them get away with plopping just about anything in the movie, and instead of getting "What the heck?" they get "Wow!".
That said, i loved the game and the movie both.

I dont find anything wrong with tifa. she's clouds childhood friend and even helps cloud in the movie. i loved the movie for its fight scenes and the fact that im a final fantasy fan and wanted to see the ff7 characters in full up to date cg.
and even if aeris lived and tifa died, their positions would have to be switched to follow the game storyline. aeris would be the childhood friend and tifa would be the new person and would that change everyones individual views of both of them? i know mine would. id be sad that tifa died and happy that aeris the childhood friend is still alive to help cloud.

I vote for tifa. I don't accually like her though. I think tat Aeris should go with Zack since he was already her first boyfriend and Tifa was a childhood friend with Cloud.

I like it, i've watch it a couple of times. it has a nice storyplay, good graphic, nice fight scenes and cloud looks good on it. i've been really eager to play the FFVII core crisis. i can't wait
True i do hate tifa myself too, and i do wish that aerith and zack would come bak (hey that rhymes) i like the movie but the lips were kinda off but still i give it a good passing score, a lot of action which is a plus great cg! but i think they're making another AC called FFVII:AC complete something i forgot the title but its something like that soo i excited to get that if i comes out in the US

Great movie but not enough characterization...and the movie is too short...but overall its great and i recommend it to all ff fans and other people too...
