New, and with only two episodes out. Though I've only seen the first one...can't find the second one subbed. >_<

Anyone else seen it? What are your opinions?

I loved the first series, and will hopefully love the second. The first episode had quite a lot in it, though I still thought it was quite good. Makes the flow between the two seasons quite nice I think.

I enjoyed the 1st series as well. Although I think I'm missing some important story facts since I had no clue of what they were talking about in a few scenes. Probably something I missed in an OVA or mini-goddess. Anyways, the colours are much more vivid and lively in comparison to the original and not to mention the animation quality is as expected with such a title as "Ah my Goddess." All the characters you know and love are still kicking as well as the same voice actors/actresses. To which I say, if you liked any of the other "Goddess" series, you should pick this new one up.

On a side note I would like to express my love for the intro. Sure I was never really fond of bag pipes but now I have a whole new respect for them. As well this symbolizes where the creators got the names of the goddess, which is norse mythology =P. Although I'm not sure bag pipes are a norse instrument...meh...

Yeah, I've been waiting for the second season to start since the first ended. I'm wondering why they decided to do this season in 4:3 instead of 16:9 like the first season. Then again, it could be that the on air versions are 4:3 and the DVD versions will be 16:9 just like how Elfen Lied was. Besides that, I have enjoyed the first 2 eps.

I've been waiting for the 2nd season for a long time!! i love the manga and the first season was superb. can't wait for the appearence of the Daimakaichou!

I can't put it in words how much I loved the first series. I saw the two episodes and I can only say: It's good like befor. I enjoyed it very much, but in the end I was really sad because I saw the two episodes allready. I would like a third series or something like this. Anyway it's worth watching.

Ture isn't the storyline of Ah my goddess is seeing how the love between belldandy and keiichi well develop through all of their troubles. like Skuld and Sayako

I've watched the first season but I didn't expect a second season to be released. I was surprised that it had a second season. The first season was good and now that it has a second season it just keeps getting better and better. I have to watch it! Only two episodes out but I'll wait for more even if it takes me years to finish. I really love this series and just loved it more.

You should read the manga ^_^

Absolutely loved the manga, but truth to tell; the serie is pretty dead now (got dead sometime after chapter ~70 in the manga). The anime is of still lower in quality both story- and animation-wise. Which is a bummer, because for some time the manga really rocked.

Agreed. The OVA series was a classic no doubt. The series has been very mediocre and unimpressive in comparison.

You can get the second eppisode off of animeone's irc i believe. Well i liked the first season although it was a bit episodic, but it was okay. I'm watching this season as well and seems to be about the same, i dont think it will be a great series but it hsould be okay.

So far the 2nd season has started right where the 1st season left off. Jumped right into the story after the Lend of episode 24 of season 1. Episode 1 did a good job of wrapping up that storyline as well as strengthening the bond between Keiichi and Belldandy. Episode 2 then focused on one of the side characters, Sayako, while also throwing in some more good Bell/Kei moments.

I can't compare either series to the manga, as I have not read it yet. Price is a little more than I can afford at this point and I already have enough stuff to read. Plus I hate collecting anything Dark Horse releases, which may be the reason I currently down any manga released by them.
