After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I think according the extreme resolutions we working is that not important. Rather should we discuss if we allow that heavy paintning of vector masks.

PS is a vector tool considering that you produce a vector, but photoshop rasterizes it into px so rescaling isn't possible =( so basically it's a vexel tool

Imo you should start a topic about this and see what others think. I partially agree with you mouton, but imo PS is also a vector tool (although not a real one)

I think a vector is something fully scalable from the source file (ie: svg, ai and so on) without lose on quality. Painting using vector mask is nice and all but not really vector from my point of view. But I am perhaps a little extremist on this subject.

Ok, I heres the original.

Then i added Haruhi in, but I don't know if she goes right. What can I do to make her blend more?

well, to start off.
The background looks great! I really like it.
I liked the one with lyrics the most. ^^

The only real problem I see here is your choice of scan.
A happy black and white Haruhi, on the bottom left doesn't really seem to fit. :/
Try a different scan and move it a little higher and to the left.
Did you get the scan from Daisuki? Isn't this the one Kero vectored?
Oh, and maybe move the lyrics to the right a little... well, but that's just me. You decide what fits best. =)

Yea there definitely needs to be a bit more contrast between haruhi and the night sky, particularly her bunny suit. Perhaps you could change the colour of the ears and the dress to say, a vibrant red. Also, the skin is a bit on the pale side for my liking but that's just personal preference.

Also it's a really nice background, lovely fireworks and that, but I really don't like the cross hatching effect on the moon, it looks really bad, just leave it as the normal moon.

Yep, thats Kero's.
Im not sure what scan to use though; I moved the text over, it looks better now.
