Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Oh i have lots of Emus but i formated my HD so i'm too lazy to install them all again...

I think this topic is ok but remember people dont put any emu links ( i think they are illegal)...

Mostly i played a PSX and a GBA emus and they are great... No matter if the graphics on GBA are not so good the games are awsome... I played Zoids on GBAemu and i would recommend it!

I love my snes one as well Im a casltevania nut... this is the only way Im able to play the import of Draculas Kiss (X)... Im lookin for a good PSX Emu but haven't figured how to play the discs. You know, Emulators are cool and all, but it is illegal after all. I only play games that I actually own. I own a ton of awesome games for the SNES, but who wants to pull out the old SNES just to play them? I can use them on my laptop and take wherever I go and things are rocking. Lately, I've been playing Harvest Moon, Samurai Showdown, and whichever FF I feel like playing (4, 5, or 6).

You can go and google it there are hundreds of site that have games for emulators for bigger emulators you can use torrent. I also played Kingdom hearts 2 on GBA emulator really fungame now i can play as Riku but i'm too lazy... I played some cool SEGA games like Comic Zone. But on emulators i recommend to play RPG and such slower and simpler to handle games. ^^

As long as you have a good computer, emus are good. But you must also know which emus work with certain games.

It's been a long time since I've played my PS1 games in my PC (I don't own a PS1) and I don't want to, because the only decent emu I know (Emurayden) has poor support. They haven't even fixed the sound issues, and some games like FFVi and Soul Edge don't run very well there..

I'd really like to see when a (good) Dreamcast, Naomi or Atomiswave emu is released.

Yeah, I love SNK games altogether...I play Fatal Fury Special for the emu too. Actually, my favorites are the KOF series, Last Blade, and Capcom vs. SNK. However, just so you know, none of the characters from Samurai Showdown were in the KOF games. All those characters came from Fatal Fury, Psycho Soldier, Art of Fighting, or are original characters. However, Nakoruru and Haohmaru were in Capcom vs. SNK.

There are some really cool things you can do with the emu's, but I only use it for the old systems - SNES, NES, and GBC or earlier...just for nostalgia, I guess. I still have my PS2 around, so I can play PSone games no problem without needing an emu.

My psp is still firmware 1.0 from japan, emulators are all over it, it's kinda like wasting the system but it's awesome fun, all that graphical power for simple games.

You're relatively wrong. Nakoruru was a secret character in KOF95 for GB. She was nuts, BTW.

My... I need to ask: didn't anyone of you play the Neo Geo games in their original arcade format? It looks like that to me D: (just out of curiosity... SNK games were pretty popular in Mexico).

Yes, of course! I can still play them at nearly every arcade in the country! I can't believe that they are so rare in the US! I don't usually play them anymore, but I played Last Blade the other day when i was waiting for the train to come. heehee! (^-^)
