Angel Sanctuary
So... Last night I watched this anime, and I think it's not so bad... But I don't understand what creators had in mind...=_= So, whrite your point about it
I haven't seen it yet but my friend told me it is an excellent anime but ya have to understand to it. I red some manga chapters and I like the way it is drawn and the story idea i think is also good. It is kinda strange but I can't wait till I will watch it *yay* (>.<)
Yes it is a very good anime. But sometimes abit to much brutal. The story is not easy and you must watch very good and concenrate on it. I cant remember very well on the storyline, but as my memory is good I was very surpriced about this anime. I think it has 3 parts "OVA". And it tels the story of two young persons that fall in love it each other. But the problem was, they are sister and brother!The biggest sin ever. An anime full of angels and demons, somtimes on the begining i dont knows who is the good and who is the bad. The last episode was great. you must see it !!

I just finished watching the last episode (there are 3 OVA) i like'd it a lot but like in many other animes i don't think that the ending was good enough.
That's because the OVA never even came close to the lenght of the manga. Truth to tell, you can also spot some careful censorship in it, like Setsuna waking up with his sister pants up and not "down" (which, later in the manga, lead to the question about her having his child). So I can honestly recommend trying the manga instead of the anime, which is like a diluted version of the same story.
The manga, though, is more gayish and at times unrealistically cruel, but ignoring these two points it's one of those series that you can watch over and over again during the years. And I really love the ending, despite not explaining what Setsuna is going to do with all that power he has, simply because Kurai promises to come back to get him. :D

The anime makes no sense because it starts in the middle and ends in the middle, if you can get past the incest part of the plot I recommend reading the manga. Its a good read, a very long one 20+ volumes, but its good.

Eh, being that the two angels (Setsuna and his sister's true forms) are female, this manga/series goes and explore both sides of the specturm.. Including incest. XD
The 3 OVAs released were horrible. It's like watching a clip show with all the main points rushed out and thrown at your face. I never read the manga, but ended up reading the entire story through multiple summaries on different sites. And Kira wears a crappy green trenchcoat, unlike his leather fashion in the manga. 0.o Crazy story that will screw up your head.

I mainly meant the drawing style of the author. You know: girly men, leather caps, and so on. Especially with Setsuna's nemesis, who is outright gay. It's not a secret either, since the author admits it in one of his short paragraphs.

Kaori Yuki is a woman my dear. That explains a lot eh? ^^;
And if you'll notice, bishies are almost always extremely feminine-like with a physical body (face, eyes, hip size...) that rivals the females.. @_@

The anime was baaaaad. Read the manga. You'll understand the anime a lot better if you read the manga. There's a lot of volumes though...
