For me, im really cheap, so i just watch it on youtube.
even tho its poor quality and everything, i dont have to wait 1/2 an hr to download an episode everytime i wanna watch something.
and its not like im gunna go back and watch all of the episodes again, but again, thats my opinion, so yahh dont get offended =]
but the downfall on youtube anime is that sometimes it wont have the episodes you want, so yahh that sucks =X

I prefer downloading, cause I'm the kind to love to rewatch a certain episode over and over again :P
But, if I can't find the episode I want, and it's on youtube, then I'll watch it on youtube.

Ohh then i guess its your computer then lol but for me, as its playing, its also loading, so yahh
I got a new comp, and it's still the same :P lol, I think my internet speed should be blamed.
If I were to play while it's loading, it's gonna stop every few seconds, cause the loading time is slower than the playing time. Ah well.

Well to make my answer plain and simple... no videos without High Speed Internet...
Youtube for smaller and funny things, ... and especially for Preview. Fun Videos (like e.g. Farting or Jackass or something like that..)
In terms of High Quality Animes I use Bittorrent in the mean time. IMO your favorite Animes should be watched in a decent quality.

I also youtube too, just started yesterday too, watching a few eps of Midori No Hibi, first eps of Keroro Gunso and the first ep of Magical Girl Lyrical Nonaha. only to see what's it like in story and animation wise. then the waiting game for the release date for dvd . but if i cant wait ill watch it all like Elfen Lied that i have download. (cant wait to get the compete dvd box set, great series). and Midori Days set ill pick up tomorrow (no spoilers pls)
I'll still get the dvds on release and pay tribute to the people that put there hard work in making something you like so much, so please also think of the people that made it happen (fund/support them by buying official release dvds)

thats ture, need the high quality stuff. but i watch on youtube now for its speed (5 mins for Midori No Hibi cut in 3 parts per ep.) as a preview and not waste my net usage -_- only 12 gig a month downgraded to 64k -_- (i dont wanna think about it) for downloading some torrents all eps zip in one folder can be up to 3 to 6 gig. now think about downloading that and find out you may not the series or NO SUBS (i dont wanna think about it)
but yeah youtube (preview) > torrent (if cant wait ) > DVD release buy (Quality and add to my colletion)
Downloading - for me, is easier because YouTube.com clips tske too long to load on y current connection. Plus, I'm the sort to watch something again and again so I'd much rather download than YouTube.

I used to download but now I use youtube. I'm not a person who would watch an episode again. For me, youtube is much quicker and it had a lot of episodes i wanted. Youtube doesn't work well with people who don't have a good internet connection. But mine is fast so I can watch the episode while it loads. I really don't care if its poor quality, as long as I can watch it :P
Bleh, use torrents, if it is anything popular, all it takes is 20 mins to download an episode

Down here, a lot of poeple just buy bootleg DVD copies. No dowloadtime. Uber clear quality. That is, if you don't have a conscience. I myself haven't supported it, but its tempting though as you can get an entire season (20-30 episodes) for less than $10. hmmm, maybe I should ditch my conscience after all.
I say downloading...once im bored i can watch it agian =P
I usually do both time to time. But it's mostly downloading for me because i'd hate to be waiting for the episodes at YouTube to load, since i have a slow computer, so it takes awhile for the episodes at YouTube to load all in time. And plus, usually when you download something you can play it anytime you want, and you also don't have to wait for it to load like YouTube, but really, bittorrents, people usually tell me that they're slow. And they are slow on mine also, just depending on your type of computer. So yea, mostly, downloading for me.

I have to download it since I live in South Africa, but it is also more of a collabrative download since South Africa's bandwith is the slowest and the most expesive in the world :_:
