Soujiro's extraction isn't too great, like 'the 11342' said. The bg is kind of neat, but I feel that it really doesn't match. Also, the text is just kind of put on there. Try and do something more with it. You could change the font and add some shadow or something to make it flow more with the bg. Hope that helps! ^^

I must say i dont see his scans very often, he's one of my faovrite manga chars typically becuase he's an assasin, a prodigy and-bascally has no emotion. :)

Kenshin does not belong in the picture, and if you were to use him, vector him a dark blue color, or a color that matches well with the water scene you have going there. Also make sure to spell it "Hitokori" :) The font is okay, not something special, but just way too big; its almost as if the words are the focus not the scan.

The bg loks like it was made by throwing filters at something, so I doubt it would get in for that alone, tbh. I also find the bg is too bright in places, especially given that the chara is quite dark. In addition the main scan needs cleaning as there are a lot of artifacts on it, and the extraction needs work too.

For good extraction work only on high res images, zoom right in to about 800 times and use the polygon lasso tool to eat away what you don't want. Do your extraction and cleaning on the original high res image and only shrink it down at the end (you should make your walls at as high a res as your system can cope with, only flattening and using "save for web" at the end.

Last thing is that your txt seems plain and gets a little lost in the bg and the other chara image seems strange and out of place - the mood of it also contradicts a little wih the mood of the rest of the wall. I'd loose the second chara and tweak the text.

(btw, don't hotlink images, as they get cut off by the side banner - read the "first stop" sticky at the top of session zero)

Soujiro's out line, the text and Kensheen got a little blur. And I think the bg not very match Soujiro.

Think you used the magic wand there, it makes the image looks pixelated. Also, the contrast looks wrong on the scan.
