This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Alright, this is my second try at making a wallpaper. This is from scratch, on paint, so I understand if it doesn't meet the requirements. It is 1280x800 so it fits the correct size, and if accepted, I will make in most other sizes. Thanks for looking!

Well ummm i dunt think it going to get accepted because i dunt rlly see how there is a category for it maybe for orginal art but then still you need to add a little more to it and it like dosent deal with anime at all on a wolf and a ipod yah keep trying keep going to session zero HELPS ALOT if you look at my wallpapers you can tell mines are so plain but yet i still get accepted. .. . .. it need to be kindah clean for a wallpaper since you made it on paint I don't blame you but then it is kindah big pixeled and grainy so yah KEEP TRING! ^-^

Have you ever seen those iPod commercials with the dancing people? This is kind of a copy of that but with a howling wolf. I know that it is grainy and I apolagize for that, but I have no photo editting software, so when I change it to a jpg. so I can upload it, everything turns out screwed up. I CAN'T make fancy wallpapers because paint is my most advanced program. I have elements 4.0 but it is being used by a friend and this is a brand new computer. I believe this would have to go under original art. I know that people can make great great artwork because they are naturally talented but I am not even close to natural at drawing. That wolf was hard to draw seeings as how I only have a trackball mouse. Sorry again for wasting people's time, I am obviously not talented enough at drawing to attemt this now, so please just forget about this post! (btw: doesn't seems should be doesn't seem) :p

Yes, we all have seen ipods dancing commercial -.-

but the problem is, this is a wolf, and it dosnt even seem like it's dancing at all, NOR does it look anime at all, and it's made from paint, so it will never get it, you should try to get Adobe Photoshop Cs 2, thats WAY better, oh and also, the ipod dosnt even look like a ipod+ the colours where chosen very badly, black and a light green, nope, whont go at all...you should use a anime cha rand make then be SMOTH, not all edged and all like that

but why don't you use a photoshop then you can draw anything in a paper and then scan it in to your computer and work on it in the photoshop , its realy gonna help you ^^

You do have somewhat of a talent but then your not expressing it fully on paint I mean if you wanna stick with paint as a program then do but its going to tske a hell of alot of 24 7 practice to get finnally good at it which i doubt just keep practicing is a adivice im giving u? it took me a hella of rejections to find out i had to stick my game up

How the heck do you expect me to a good animated gif in paint with a trackball? If you have any ideas on that please share them. (btw you spelled won't wrong) If you had watched the commercials, you would know that they people were black (hence the black wolf) and a Bright random colored background including green, that is a personal opinion. Sorry, but I can't even understand "anime cha rand make then be SMOTH" I know the edges are bad, Trackball it is not easy like those blessed with tablets. The wolf is not supposed to be dancing it is just there. The ipod is an ipod shape (roughly) I knew this wouldn't pass but you don't have to degrade it down to nothing, and just leave it, give me so suggestions (sorry to sound like that I am jut frustrated and I know you gave me a 2) . Like I said, I am short on money, using paint and a trackball, and I am not natural at art! :X

You know you can take a wolf from the anime " Wolf rain" then it would be from an anime. Ipod wallpapers have to be very orginal they just can't be plain like this. Go here for free software, I suggest using GIMP because that is pretty close to photoshop (so I hear): http://www.animepaper.net/group/resourcepool/discussions/18422/

Hope that will help. If you where really to do this in paint you would have to be one heck of a pixel artist which isn't happening here ^_^.

That's not very nice of you to say justshady T.T Everyone starts from one point which is the most difficult, even the best waller in AP started off without knowing a thing about Photoshop or Illustrator or GIMP, everyone learns and they learn from their mistakes as well. But I do agree with justshady, it is really nice to see someone put a lot of effect to make a wall even with just 'ms' paint.

Ok well, cloud435 all of the members here at AP (well most of them =P lol) suggest that you download GIMP for now till you get your Photoshop Elements back, or what you could do is wait till your friend gives back Photoshop Elements to you? I think that'll make things better...

I know about all this stuff, I had a tablet and a good program before, but my laptop broke down and I needed to sell some stuff to get the money to get a new laptop, thanks everybody for the suggestions, once I get photoshop back I can turn out good quality work, I have in the past but with paint it is kinda hard. XD Thanks for taking the time to look though.
