[Anime Discussion] Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Honestly, I'm so confused - -;
I only watched 8 episodes, and I don't really know what it means.
It's so weird.
But good TV Series.
Curious too.
But I don't have the other episodes..

I watched all the episodes a few days ago and I'm happy to have discovered such anime.
Well, I can say sometimes the story turn into a strange end... no, every stories is like that.
The stories were done very well, so following this anime at the very end wasn't boring at all.
Plus, I liked the OP & ED's songs.
[ For people who doesn't know how the anime work, just understand this, then you can follow the anime : 3 or 4 episodes per story (so this anime is composed of differents 'little' stories)^^]

With the release of the first episode of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai (ひぐらしの なく頃に解), discussion is now reopened.
The first episode (the beginning of the explanation arc for Yakusumashi-hen) was pretty neat; a great introduction to the second season and closure to the first. It's great that the anime has a good arrangement. I can't really type much because I might spoil it for everyone, and I'll probably conclude it here.
I think it is a great anime, and the first arc was kind of creepy. The characthers where good and so was the story. I liked the fact that you didn´t get any answers in the begining since that made me intrested in continuing watching the rest of the episodes.
It was great anime! I was totally amazed how they managed to explain all that unexplainable scary things from the beggining... wow! And it's so scary and bloody so it fits me perfectly... hehe... I think I'm gonna watch it again the next time I want to creep myself out ^_^.. my favourite character is Rika, soo cute! And the thing about showing anime in different dimensions is great idea... I loved that although it confuzed me completely, lol.
Grown up Rena is highly deserving of rape.
but as of episode one, I felt dissapointed, but I hope not for long, quality of the anime is still there and the intensity is still good.

A little disappointed for the first episode. But a quite nice introduction for the first season of the series. And the grown up Rena is quite.. scary than when she was younger? Look forward for the next episode~~
I was also disappointed with the first episode, it didn't turn out at all like i wanted it to, the last ep of the first season left a lot of questions unanswered so i was hoping for at least some answers... now i just have more questions XD i was hoping for the first ep to be a little more fast paced, also. and older Rena... ftw. but it started out relatively well despite my expectations. it still has the suspense in it enough for you to keep watching it. i hope the rest of the series does well though.
I have'nt watched the 2nd season yet, but i have watched the 1st season a couple of months ago, and i found it really interesting. I really love the songs. Very eerie yet calming in a weird way. O_o
I'll probably start watching the 2nd season soon. Hopefully it'll be good. ^__^

Great series, I really like how happy times and the cuteness can just change into such barbaric, crazy, and violent scenes. gotta give credit to Studio deen for recreating the game into such a thriller.

It's one of my favorite series, just too good.
The first episode from Kai was kind of interesting for me, now just waiting for the next...

When i watched the first episode, i thought this is a ordinary comedy anime or school life... sth like that. But when i watched more and more, so i found that it's the most horror anime that i've ever watched. although it's like that, i like it so much.

Freakishly addicting is what I say... I like the balance in it, although sometimes it's a bit out of hand, it's got it's cuteness, and the times where you think that the character that's berserk is just... wayyy crazy. Yet you see all sides of the characters throughout the episodes, so it's reasonably understood.
