Of all the fighting games that I ever played and enjoyed, Soul Calibur has drawn me in the most. It's fighting system allows you to pick up and play the game, but the game has enough depth so that you can go to another level with it. I was wondering what everyone else thought about the new SC4 and about any new information that they might have for the game? Of all the things that I've noticed from my own observations, the main adjustment seems to be a wardrobe that keeps getting more and more slutty O.o;;

I don't know but after the disappointment that was three, I'm really hesitant in buying four. I might borrow it from a friend but if I can't it's all gonna come down to how the good the demo is gonna be.

I never played the third game in the series, but I loved the second one. Soul Calibur 4 looks awesome.

I played all series of Soul Calibur and i saw a trailer of the 4th series and it look heavenly cool did you guys see ivy new dress

I haven't seen any game play from the 4th yet but from what I've played from the 3rd I'm sure it's breath taking, the flashy moves and feel of the game really surprised me when I played it and it's gotten really interesting, does any one know what consoles SC4 will be released upon?

Yes, Soul Calibur is awesome, its probably one of the best fighting games ever. The graphics are good, the controls and moves are good, and most of all, the characters are good. They each have their own detailed story line, and you usually do not find that in a fighting game.

Soul Calibur 4 looks great I wonder what stystems it will be for though. It could just be for the Wii, or the Xbox 360, or PS3.

Soul calibur is a great 3d fighting series. its going to be on the X360 and ps3. weii gets legends which will be great to see the storyline behind soul calibur.

I really liked II, but i was kind of... cheap. I hope that IV will be as awesome as II was. :)

I actually thought 3 was better than 2, but that's probably cause my character got a revamp. I do see the issue of it turning to another DOA. Ivy's outfit is just ridiculous and why doesn't Cassandra have a bottom to her outfit

I absolutely love this series. I've played 2 and 3, and out of those two I would have to say that Soul Calibur 3 was the best. As soon as I heard of Soul Calibur 4, and of some of the major changes it was going to go through, I became really excited about it. It looks very promising in both graphics and gameplay. I probably won't be able to buy it as soon as it comes out(who knows though, I may be able to), but I know that when I do buy it that I'll be able to enjoy it even more than I did Soul Calibur 3. Especially considering the fact that the game is going to be on a next gen system.

If its better than 3 than I will be a happy camper. So far things are looking good but only time will tell. I wish they would release it in arcades first though so all the bugs would be worked out before the console release.

I don't know, DOA 4 sucked terribly, but everything before that was amazing. The volleyball games aside, DOAU was pretty balanced in my opinion, and 3 did a good job for the underdeveloped engine that they had at launch of X-Box. Of course the first two when they first came out we're great. Soul Calibur 4 better go back and look at everything they did wrong in 3 and fix it. SC 3 was really unbalanced, a lot of the characters signiture moves from 2 were take away, and the whole crate a fighter kinda quest system sucked. They need to go back to the basics that worked so well in SC 1 and SC 2. Let's just forget about that horrible nightmare that was 3 and try not to repeat it.

There are many games that have been unbalanced. The thing about it is that most of the designers/developers, etc sometimes don't realize the mistakes of previous games, though some of them I'm sure they know perfectly well of what they may have done wrong. The system with SC 3 in terms of the create a fighter was a new touch, but much of what you could do with that was limited. Every game has some kind of flaw of some kind. I just really hope though that the team who is working on the SC project will realize their past mistakes in the series and make this into one of the best. Especially since this is going to be on nex gen systems.

For me Soul Calibur is the best fighting game ever!!. I really like the history, the character design, the music, all is perfect in this series. I really like the way Namco is evolve with this game, since the Soul Calibur I for PS1 to the Soul Calibur 4 for PS3.

I really enjoy Soul Calibur 2 and 3, and I waiting for Soul Calibur 4 with emotion! I have the Soundtrack of this game (2 and 3), the whole soundtrack is amazing with really incredible songs. My favorite character are Sophitia and Taki.

I see some of the characters new arts and they are really cool!! Y really like the way Sophitia and Cassandra looks in this game. Sophitia looks so beautiful and Cassandra looks more refinated. Im excited to play with them. Ivy looks so cool in her new costum and Nightmare looks really cool too. Astaroth looks so powerfull and the new character, the knight woman lokks cool. I waiting to see the new graphics and motor of the game, the capacity of the XBOX 360 and the new soundtrack. Of course, Im waiting to see the new second and third costum to each character. I also hear that the section Create your character have more option and other things

I hope this new game will be so cool and awesome like the last to games, Im a big fan of this series and I hope this games will be the best fighting game of history.
