OK, I love STAR WARS, but fighting games, I'm not crazy about. Until, I saw Darth Vader
in the new SCIV trailer. WOW! Great move by Lucas Arts. If this is the beginning of many games to have cross genre mixes, I don't know it could get cheesy, but this could be a good thing for SCIV and the PS3/ XBOX 360. This is what games SHOULD be like, original, new, different from the norm. This one IS.
The graphics look incredible. I don't know how close they will be on both systems. The Play Station 3 will most likely be the winner as far as graphics and no lag. It deepens on how they made the game, and I want to play it.

Can't wait to add this game to my collection it looks just awesome and soul caliber's never let me down in the awesomeness department why would they start now =]

I definitely enjoyed SC 2 and I really think SC 4 is goin to be a great game and that people should give it a little credit for what its done. I really think its not one of those games where only pros can do well in the game but its also not so simple that you get bored because they isnt any kind of skills you can obtain from it. I really enjoyed playing the game with my older brother because we could play with anyone, even people who didnt know how ot play and they still did just fine with the game. Also i really enjoyed the variations of clothing, weapons and the way combos work in the game more than other games.
Its weird how their gona have darth vader and yoda in it.....
Soul Calibur 4 certainly looks like a nice game; I hope the voice acting isn't as atrocious as in SC3, though. (It would also be nice if it came out on a Nintendo system :( )

They are having several mangakas designing other characters for Soul Calibur 4. I like this idea more than them putting in the 2 Star War characters. The whole series has always been sort of anime, hell they have alot of popular seiyuus voicing the characters, so having mangakas make several characters is going to be great.
I hope the create a soul is good. The one in 3 was nice, but was lacking.

I've played 1 and 2, both amazingly fun games, Cervantes is my chosen character, oh the fun of pissing people off with his forward flying, spin attack at the start of the battle. Number 3 was awful from what I played and saw of it though I didn't get very much of it as I'm a Gamecube user and they saw fit to ignore us this time... gits... though it was seemingly for the best. Hopefully 4 will bring the series back in to a good light.

This game is going to be great. My brother will be happy for the fact that Cervantes will be in the game. It's going to be interesting seeing the Star Wars characters in the game. Sadly, I can't play as Darth Vader since he's only on the PS3 edition. But I can play as Yoda seeing as he will be on the XBox 360 edition.
I too am looking forward to SC4. I'm a pretty big fan of fighting games and soul calibur as a series has never been a disappointment. I am very interested to see what manga/anime characters are going to be introduced alongside vader/yoda. I also heard that regardless of which system you purchase the game for that you could download the other version's bonus Star Wars character.
