Looky here, Zaraki doesn't know his zanpactou's name but that doesn't mean its not released. Remember that Zaraki has a S%^& load of spiritual power. Its like when Ichigo first had his soul cutter, he didnt have control over his spiritual powers.

Just because someone in Bleach has a Zanpaku-to doesn't make them a Shinigami, and If you're a shinigami, you have a Zanpaku-to. In case you're too stupid to understand what I was saying. I just don't get why it is so hard to believe that Kenpachi's sword is in shikai. And why don't you believe that when the author himself has stated so. I'm sorry but is there any greater authority on how this things work than the author? Did you actually studied a shinigami to say whether or not his spiritual pressure can be high enough to release a sword?

I think this is a plausible argument. And why? As I have stated before, both sword and master have human nature and I can easily see the spiritual pressure affecting the sword. And I really can't see why people find that hard to accept. And if you take it literally shikai means "released form" it does not mean "knowing the name form", or "get a connection with the sword form". Released form does not indicate how to achieve it. Yes, the most of the shinigami have achieved this by knowing the name, but who is to say there is no other way. You know everybody thought the earth was flat until someone took a boat trip (this is quote from somewhere but I can't really recall where I heard it). So who is to say that shikai cannot be achieved by only high spiritual pressure? Why are you guys so blindly refusing to see any other way to it?

It terms of straight LOGIC, which you obviously don't understand. If something is not known, then accoridng to the open eye, it doesn't exist. Such as Zarakis Zanapaku-tos name. It isn't known, so it is nameless. And on the same note to back both of us up. Just because it hasnt said it's name, doesn't mean ti doesn't have one, then again this can be turned around. It may not have a name PERIOD, like Zaraki did when he first met Yachiru. Neither side of this can be proven and thus forth, his zanpaku-to has no name.

OMG LOOOL. SO FAR I HAVE READ TRUSTWORTHY SOURCES THAT STATE THE FACT THAT ZARAKI KENPACHI HAS A RELEASED (SHIKAI) ZANPACTOU, BUT I HAVE NOT READ ANY SOURCES THAT STATE THAT ZARAKI DOES NOT HAVE A RELEASED ZANPACTOU. I think that should say something bout the subject.
