IDC..what people are going to say ..kenpachi in bankai would be ..a very happy day for me. It would be worth all of the fillers :) Then it'd be like DBZ and take like.. 3 episodes just for him to transform! 3 seconds to kill everything around him but the enemy, etc etc.

Chinaman91, I think its time that we tag team and kick Roognok's ass. Here is the link that you can go to, to prove that Zaraki has a shikai. you can read it as much as you want, but it will not change the fact that he has a shikai.

I'd love to see Kenpachi release his bankai... I think that it will definitely happen, as he has began to change (veeeery slowly) after fighting Ichigo. And when it does... aaah... I mean, he's so strong now, both w/ and w/o his eyepatch; what would he be like if he managed to move from shikai to bankai?

You said it yourself chinaman, the manga is the Bleach world as the creator intended it to be. Now, how did he contradict himself.

Note, NEED. Zaraki doesn't HAVE cumonciation with his zanpaku-to, therefore he can not have Shikai, the INITIAL RELEASE. Then the creator goers off and says, oh he's an exeption, he has shikai. boohoo..sorry, it's contradicting. Say what you want, I'm done. This is the PROOF that he does NOT have shikai, IN THE WORLD OF BLEACH AS THE CREATOR INTENDED. So what if the creator says he has Shikai, he's merley contradicting himself. Uh, Roognok... There are exceptions to every rule... And Ken-chan must have shikai because, as you said, THE AUTHOR HIMSELF SAID SO. And you forget that Ichigo's sword has been in shikai mode since the very beginning, when he didn't even know what shinigami were, which just proves that there are exceptions to your rule.
Anyway, since whatever the author says IS WHAT HE INTENDS, he cannot contradict himself in the way you mean.

Btw I was just re watching earlier Bleach episodes and I found yet another source that state, correction, Zaraki Kenpachi himself states that he has a released Zanpactou ( Shikai) and why that is. Its where he was fighting Ichigo for the 1st time. Below is are two links, 1 for a subbed version and another 4 a dubbed version. They both say that he has a released Zanpactou and why.

In my opinion, Zaraki has NO release as of yet.
I will remind you, first, about Ichigo fighting that Menos Grande.
Ichigo already had amazing reiatsu, and his sword was big... But it was NOT yet the shikai form of Zangetsu. Since Ichigo didn't know the name of his zanpakuto, he couldn't go shikai.
Although, he may unconsciously had made a Getsuga Tenshou (although I am not sure about this fact at all) at that time, cutting the Gillian. Yet, I am sure that he made a reiatsu slash, as Kenpachi made one when he released his eyepatch for the first time (making a flat collapse).
The same goes for Kenpachi. He doesn't have shikai since he does not even know the name of his zanpakuto as of now, but he may have triggered a shikai ability unconsciously.
Well, now I just stated an opinion based on facts... I am not claiming to say absolute truth or whatnot, since I am sure that I left something aside.

OH COME ON cyberrob50 Did you watch the youtube videos I posted in my previous post? I have shown proof that he has Shikai, show me something that state Zaraki Kenpachi does not have a released Zanpactou. Btw you cant perfom a special attack like Getsuga Tenshou without having a released Zanpactou.

Ace07, please relax ^^ I saw the video and compared it to the manga... Actually, I am a manga reader (anime comes second to me, not as trustworthy as manga) and the manga part is rather vague...
He says that it is his only sword's true form... Not his Zanpakuto's true form. I don't think he truly knew the sense of a zanpakuto until he actually fought Ichigo.
He may have a forced shikai, but I'm sure of one thing: he has no shikai ability seen so far, unless it is Extra-cutting power, then he would have gotten shikai way before entering Soul Society XD

Am not pissed, its just that we are goin round in circles lol. About the Shikai ability and stuff, the thing with Zaraki is that he doesnt know shit. I mean he cant use Shunpo, or demon magic (kidou). The only thing he's got at his master swordsmanship. The reason he doesnt use any Shikai ability is that, how do I put this, he's not very bright, which is the same reason he cant perfom eni of the other shinigami fighting styles such as Shunpo. Also it might b because he wants 2 enjoy the fight, and using a shikia attack is goner ruin everything.

So, basically, he didn't undergo the kidou knowledge exams, the swordsmanship ones as well as the "know your zanpakuto's name and shikai" one.
Still, he was able to shunpo *just remember his fight against Ichigo when Ichigo had actually to hear Kenpachi's bells to locate him*
On the sideline, now:
Other theory that I will put: Zaraki's zanpakuto is nameless and Zaraki himself will give it a name. Let me explain it:
- Zaraki has no name to begin with and he had to give himself a name (as well as Yachiru)
- It is said that zanpakutos are LIKE the users (refer to Yumichika talking to his zanpakuto and insulting him - same for Matsumoto).
