Hehe no, you can just was them and keep them clean. A friend of mine made them and damn it really hurts though but I have them...2/3 months now so it was worth it. I don't mind what others say I mean you also ways get the question "But what if you dont want them anymore", " What about your job " stuff like that.
I mean, if my workplace don't want me because of my dreads well then I should move to Jamaica or find somewhere else a job. I don't really care hehe.
Where are you guys from? Here in my country more and more people start to get dreads. It's for me a symbol of peace and well if you don't was your hair for 3 months you get dreads so it's nature! hehe.

I have a fro and it kinda looks like dreds when it's wet.
Well by making your hair wet you fast the progress to get those dreads. But when you use shampoo it will become normal again.

If you get dreds I think they pretty much stay until you get them out. One of my friends gave me one? once and it kinda reminded of one time when I didn't brush my hair for like a week and the back of my head became one huge mat. That definitely didn't wanna come out.
Hehe well it's the best that someone makes them for you though. A prof.
