Hi, here i want to disscus the 3rd season of higurashi, announced (i think a day after) the past year. i try to predict what is going to show up in the season relevant for the history before the final of higurashi kai. maybe a little more of satoshi, but i think there will be more history of the future after the final we saw. i really want to hear your opinion. bye.

if you wanna know what i think, the series is probably gonna include the true end from the PS2 game and also have the arcs where Natsumi will make her appearance.

Well, the second season left things quite open, so it would be nice if the third anime season was indeed true; it would be nice to have a closing for the story and know what really happened in Hinamizawa. And if Rika and co. could stop the massacre at last.
I havent finished watching kai yet but im looking forward to the third season coming out.

OMG! There's a third season coming out! I haven't been able to finish the first one since I got my downloads mixed up.. I dowloaded the second season first! Ack! 
Hope this latest season will be as good as the first two.. hmm...

I haven't finished watching Kai but I think the original was much better. Kai just has a very different feel to it and it seems like it betrayed the original concept but it's still worth watching! I think I'll check out the third season when it does come out.

I think it would be interesting if the third season has some more information about the epilogue we saw a snippet of after kai.
But I totally agree that there is still plenty of Higurashi left to do another worthwhile season. From my research that game is amazingly complex with all of those side universes.
I'm looking forward to it.

If there would be a date release for season 3 that would be helpful.
Also hopefully it would explain season 2 after the credits ending with Rika grown up, and back in time that was confusing, and very questionable.
Other then that I know nothing of the third season or what they could have left out.

Well, at Kai, we saw only Rena Grow up at first,and she is like half traumazed,at the end we saw Rika grow up,and don't know where's the other.but I think it's happy conclusion,because all character live... about Rei,hmm waiting the live action first :D

I don't know what exactly will be in the third season, but hope to make things clear and want to be more horror there. I;m missing higurashi so much :(

I really enjoyed getting the answers for my various questions in kai. So even though kai got a different feeling, which I think was intended, it was great.
As for the third season I hope they'll implement the Saikoroshi-hen arc for starting off (as an epilog of the ending of kai) and continue with Onisarashi-hen (Natsumi arc - I liked the manga). Eventually, as an happy end, I would like to see Miotsukushi-hen.
So, I'm looking forward to it and hope they will announce a date soon. :)
