Looks or personality?
I don't go by looks, so I guess I'd go for someone with an awesome personality but his looks are 'down there'.
Most people would almost always choose personality.
It does have a lot to do with attraction...for example, you could be physically attracted to someone until you find out what their character and personality is like.
Then, it would become a major turn-off.
But, that's not to say that looks don't matter. Sometimes the person with the best personality but mediocre looks is overshadowed by the good-looking and okay personality person. It's just the way our minds work, I suppose.

Well to be honest I would go for a guy with a great personality, no matter what they look like you have to see if you get along with them first, unless you ask them out and then see there personality and then find out they aren't your type because of there personality, lol but ofcourse you have to see if you get along with them i mean you don't want to go out with someone that you don't along. :) someone who is funny, laid back and ofcourse someone i get along with alot.
Personality is more important! Everyone grows old (including good-looking people). Looks only matter for first impressions, but as you get to know people better, personality is way more important. Though of course, I wouldn't want a guy who looks really horrible, just reasonably okay.
Of course, a good personality is very first important aspect in relationship.

I hope it doesn't sound shallow, but my first impression on a person will be their looks. Honestly, i dont think i can date a person who smells bad and dont find attractive at all. But personality is very important. More important than looks. A guy who treats me like dirt, well, bye bye. I have a boyfriend, and he's a good person and not that bad looking. His hair needs a little sprucing up though.
Even if people here are saying that they don't care so much about looks, I think people get attracted to someone by their looks. I don't mean to offend anyone! Don't take it wrong, but I kinda know..I'm one of those ugly people. I haven't really met anyone nice who wouldn't care about looks, everyone in my class is a jerk who thinks only looks!

I prefer personality, I have to admit that good looks is a big plus but it is not important. When being in love with another person he/she will look great in your eyes so it dosen't really matter how they look.
I think a good personality is what makes a good relationship, to be together or love another human just because he or she looks good isn't enough in the end. I like guys which is kind to me, care for me, has a big heart and can make me laugh, just like my boyfriend I love his personality and he is everything I ever whised for in my eyes he looks great he is the cutest and the most kind person I ever met and to me he is a guy with good looks.

Hmmm... I suppose both, but no one's perfect. I'd rather go out with a guy with a personality. How boring would it be to go out with someone who didn't have a personality?

Truthfully... i never met someone like that so i have no idea.
i probably won't choose but if it is a must, definitely personality over looks. but who knows, there might be exceptions. ^^;;

I think its good to take care of your physical appearance, but definitely personality is a big plus.
I am sorry to say that I cannot choose either one. They have to have both. But the first thing I would look for is looks.
I would go to personality, i don't think it would be a good idea to go with a person who has good looks but has a really bad personality. . .

Most people would like to say personality only, looks don't matter at all. Personally, I'd say that people initially make judgements based on looks, but personality is still very important. I'd like to think that I base only on personality, but looks are still a factor. Just a small one :)
