Dennou Coil

Anybody watch it? I really enjoyed it.
It was really slow to start, but after the 'filler' (beard nuclear wars, PLESIoO, and underwater Daikoku) episodes it picked up. I cried at the plesio episode.
The ending...
Needs more OVAs.

I really liked Dennou Coil. I actually found it because I saw a scan here for it and it looked interesting. ^^
I agree that I wish there was more stories surrounding the other characters but in the end it left me feeling somewhat satistifed. Also, you cried during the plesio episode too? That was the saddest episode of anime I've seen since the ending of Bebop. T^T My friend and I had actually skipped that episode when we were watching them all (we downloaded a whole bunch at once and had our own little mini marathon). I noticed we'd skipped one and I said, "Let's go back and watch it." We did and we regreted going back. v.v

I started this a while back and it looked pretty interesting. It didn't really grab my attention, though. I'll give it a second try at some point.

I knew all along that a series like this had to have "deep" ending, but it wasn't quite what I expected, nor was it better. Still, it was nice how they managed to tie everything together. The whole plot was really interesting and complex, yet transparent enough that, by the time you finish it, everything becomes clear.
A great series for anyone who likes intellectual stuff: psycology, technology, virtual reality, micro-nuclear interfacial warfare, etc.
This series made me seriously consider going into the field of Augmented Reality. The expansiveness of the real world combined with possibilities of virtuality, it's like my dream world, one of them anyway. I only hope I live to see the day it becomes reality. (no pun intended)

I tried to enjoy this series... I really tried, but the 10 episodes we watched during my universitys' anime society term just didn't inspire me to finish it. It had some comical sides to it but mostly it was somewhat dull, not enough humour to keep me watching on like I did with Minami-Ke and not enough action or pace in place of humour.

I was really intrigue about this series. I downloaded all the episodes and watch it in a marathon. It was so great! I love it! I couldn't help but tell all my friends to watch the series. Everyone must really watch this.

, and having an ending like that was like "WTF!" It should have centered more around everyone, and not just saving Isako in the end.
