How does you family feel about Anime?

I think my family is okay with it, even thought they can be harsh about it. My mom doesn't mind me watching, but she likes to tease me about it, calling it ''Chinese crap'' and all... she knows it's actually ''Japanese crap'', but she only does it to piss me off.
My dad, I don't really care what he thinks nor do my brothers. My older brother sometimes comes and watches for about 10 seconds, makes fun out of Japanese language and then he goes away again.

My parent consider anime manga is something childish ...
they are not encourgrace me to follow that hobby but they don't take it seriously. they's kind of tradional parent but it's ok right now ...

Most of my family doesn't really understand it but, they are ok with it. Now the only one in my family who does kind of understand my obsession with anime is my brother. The only reason why he does is because is has an interest in it as well but, he not as into in as I am. :D
My family (parents) don't really care about it. My brother and boyfriend also watch anime so I'm not the only one. Also all of my cousins watch anime too so it's normal.
Oh my god. My parents, my step parent, and my step siblings all hate the "squeaky voiced gibberish speakers' as they call it. It drives me completely insane. I have to watch anime with headphones or when no one is home. They also dislike the big-eyedness of it. I mean, like like sponge bob, but not anime? What kind of world is this?

My mother thinks that my hobby as collecting anime is only for abnormal people. I think that she is making a point that everything related to anime iis for weirdos. Anyone who wants to make a comment for that?

My parents dislike anime. They said that I waste my precious time on nonsense stuff. And every time I watch Inuyasha, they always have something to criticize on. I really like anime, the art is good and some stories are very meaningful. It makes me cry. Why can't they see that. Yes, there are anime which are just absolutely nonsense. But I always watch meaningful anime. My dad all day just talks about my unworthy hobbies. He said that I should pursue other things more useful and educational than anime. And if I listen to anime music, he said that how can I listen to something I can't understand. Doesn't matter, as long as the music is good. My cousin was the one who introduced me to anime. My first anime was Inuyasha. It was fantastic, especially the love between Inuyasha and Kagome and Kikyo. Maybe I still get addicted to anime until I grow up. I think I'm so silly. It's funny to picture me watching cartoon when I am thirty. Oh gosh, I am hopeless

They get off on callin anime cartoons. the hard truth is that it is sum part of a cartoon but the storylines are much more mature..well thats my argument...
