How does you family feel about Anime?
My parents are ok with it. My cousin used to hate the fact that I was always watching anime.....now she's hooked into it. 
Nobody in my family likes anime, they just accept me with this, so nothing special, only my grandmother tells me even now that why am I watching those stupid chinese movies /(oOo)#

My mum doesn't mind. Well, only a bit. 'Cause I'm using her monies to buy it D: But I'll pay her back one day, I swear 
. But other than that, that's the only problem with it. I can control myself when I have an assignment or test/exam the next/ following week.
Oh, I'm practically the only person in my family that likes it. Maybe my other cousin likes Naruto... But I dunno. If that's all he's into, I wouldn't really count that as 'into anime'.

My father always says damn son you're 18 now and you're still watching cartoons and when he realized that they are talking japanese he just shook his head^^ My Mum doesn't really dare about that and most of my friends don't like anime too, except for lame things like dragon ball z -.-. The rest of my familiy doesn't even know about this I guess I'm just not as obsessed with it as some of the people in this forum are :D

My mother doesn't care and I get blank stares from the rest of my family. I've gotten my mom to watch the anime movies by studio ghibli but thats where it begins and ends with her.

My perant dont realy care if i see anime they loke it to but my dad likes it more then my mom i have pictures all over my room and on my cell and i even have the episodes and manga so they dont realy say any thing to me about it. wich to me i think is cool .
My parents used to think that it was just some stupid cartoons, but after I showed them a few episodes of GITSSAC they recognized that anime was just the same as regular TV dramas - It was just shown in a different form.
My mother and father hate it. They say that I should spend my money on something else. My brother kind of watches, but not much. My sister sometimes watch some, but are pure girlyness like Fruits Basket or Candy Candy, sometimes even Azumanga Daioh.

Well my sister had use to watch anime but she really has stepped away from it as she had gotten older. I'm pretty much the only person in my house who watches it and even takes the time to spend countless hours watching it lol Its okay though, anime is cool to me but I think its something not everyone can get into unless you're really willing to do so.
My parents are ok with it, except with it interferes with my studies X_X. Both my younger brothers watch some, but not nearly as much as i do.

My family doesn't quite understand why I like to watch anime but they don't usually reticule. Although there jokes about me watching my "anime porno" can get a little old.
