Lucky Star English Cast

Well, I just receieved my Lucky StarVol. 1 a few days ago...
Having already been familiar with the Japanese cast, I decided to check out the English cast and found it to be surprisingly good.
My favorite besides Kona is Akira from the Lucky Channel, in fact, the Lucky Channel segments were very well done in English I think. Overall aside from the extras in the Limited Edition versions the English version ofLucky Star is perfect!

It's...better than what I expected. Konata's voice is good and so are some other's. The only thing that is really annoying me is that they use Japanese honorifics in it.

Ok, first off Wanda Lee as konota was awsome, she also voices haruhi, also awsome. Secound off, the guy in lucky channel is also from Haruhi, kyon's tall frined, and i find the voices just sound awsome.
Kagamin's voice grates at my nerves a bit, but I love the rest. It's all so well-fit. The use of Wendee Lee as Konata after voicing Haruhi was genius, too.

Excellent! I was really impressed! Hopefully this bodes well for future Bandai dubs!
While I have to start off by saying that I haven't listened to the English track since I bought it, so I'm not sure how much of an improvement it made since the voices they showed in their clip. The voices sounded ok though, although it sounded a lot like they weren't trying as hard as the originals. I think Kona-chan's voice was absolutely perfect ^_^. Maybe I should check out the English track and see how it sounds (wow, did those words come out of my mouth?, hehehehe ^_^).

I like the English cast. Wendee is doing a good job as Konata.
About the use of Japanese honorifics, it isn't unusual to see an English dubbed Anime with honorifics these days.
Stellvia of The Universe had it, as did Azumanga Daioh.

I haven't seen the english version of lucky star, but i generally hate english dubbers.
They pronounce words so... perfectly.

I haven´t see the english version too but ever is better in japanese.
But the last 2 animes that i saw in english weren´t bad at all. The melancholy of suzumiya and naruto are ok in english, well that is my opinion. (im improving my english if i say something weird just tell me)

I just watched the English dub after watching the Japanese dub. The English dub looks good so far. My favorite Eng. dub character seems to be Shiraishi, but I can relate to Konata easily.
The Lucky Star dub isn't bad at all.
The voice that probably fits the most
is Miyuki's voice. Sounds a bit similar
to the Japanese version.
