Cha! I was in Japan when this movie came out, and I was totally like, "I'm going to see this no matter what."
Haha, didn't do it. I even saw a theater where it was playing but I didn't want to look strange. After all - what foreign tourist goes into a Japanese Theater?
I'm totally waiting for the release of the DVD.

Ahh I started reading this thread not looking at the date getting really bumbed about how long I would have to wait to see the film. Then I made it to the end and ahhhh I can't wait. This is awsome that it comes out here in a few weeks. awsome. I can't wait to see it.

I watch my movies online, but I can't seem to find Diamond Dust Rebellion anywhere. It's a sad day when you have been defeated by a computer.

English subs came out already :) Was watching it two days ago (I started with the Chinese subs because they came out earlier, but gave up halfway because my Chinese is horrible). The Dattebayo version is not out yet at the moment, but the AnimeShout version is.
It should be up at most torrent and streaming websites. I got mine by direct download from BleachExile though :) Pixel quality isn't bad but could do better. Subs are great!
I really love this one because of Urahara's awesome role. I'm not gonna spoil it for ya so watch for yourself!

I really can't wait for this! But yeah I doubt Rukia will die in an hour and a half filler. And no good guys really die in Bleach xD I loved Diamond Dust Rebellion so I'm really looking forward to this!

The movie is up at Animetake to download with subs, if you want. Just put Fade to Black and download
I have to say, after reading the manga, the anime fillers quenched my enthusiasm for the series, but this movie really revived the flame for me. It's completely different from all the other ovas and movies. Where the others were just based on action packed HQ graphics show with no insight or dephs of any kind, this one's based on story telling with deepest insight into the innermost spirit of Bleach in HQ graphics to boot! You can really tell Kubo Tite's hand in this story. The fight scenes were kept to minimum to create a better story background and strenghten the shows of power to the maximum.
All in all, one of the best movies I've ever seen. If you're fan of Bleach, you'll just love it! If you're just fan of fighting, maybe you'd be better off with a shallower production. This one requires the mind like none of the previous ones.
