As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

I think that it is completely normal, you're not cynical at all,I've been in that situation more than once. I've lived in a house with not two but six girls alone with me being the oldest at 16. They didn't know how to do crap! I mean we cleaned the house before we lived in it and I swear to god not a single one of those girls knew what clean was! I'm a perfectionist by heart so seeing an entire spider web in a very obvious corner after they so called "vaccumed" pushed my buttons in hard. I think I over did it in the explosion that followed but that spider web never got cleaned up. One night I wasn't even there and they decided to cook bacon, okay so we didn't have a frying pan in the house and the stove did take a while to heat up, but instead of taking a pot and putting a lid on it they decided to try cooking the bacon in the oven, then the microwave! It was a wonder that they didn't burn the house down. This is just one example in a very long list of annoyances that made me get the hell out of that house and just start driving down at 5:30 in the morning. I prefer my own bed to one with spiders in it.

The one thing that really annoys and angers me are the flies that fly around where I live. If any fly comes into my path and it bothers me so, I don't use an electric flyswatter (the ones that will shock you if you touch it while it has an electric charge lingering in the nets). Instead, if I'm quick enough, I just use my bare hands to kill them. Of course, if I'm successful, I just go to the bathroom and rinse my hands with water and soap to clean my hands off, just so I won't get sick.

Im really easily annoyed by alot of small things.
My youngest brother has many small quirks.
But no matter how insignificant they are, they always annoy me.
I also asked if Im just a hateful person. Which I may be. But i've come to the conclusion that being annoyed by small things is quite common.

People who cough with the mouth open, the guys who talk like **** ( you know, with that weird accent...), having to repeat what I said, having to do a job that I was already for granted, just because they want to add content, etc, etc.

...At least I think those are the main ones. P(>_<) emoticon

It happens to everybody... I think Kasumi from Ranma 1/2 put it as so, "too many straws on the camel's back". Pile up enough, and even a camel will break under the pressure of just one straw.

One thing I learned is to stand outside of the small issues that can make me angry. It's very easy to be caught up in bitterness and be blinded with a fog of rage, but that's because it's easy to personalize and identify one-self with the issue, with our own "victimhood" so to speak. It is possible to stand outside of the problem, that is, to externalize the anger and see it from a distance, like a fish that swims out of the ocean's grasp. When we become the observer of these emotions, as opposed to being drowned in the emotion themselves, their power becomes diminished.

This isn't to say that we shouldn't take offense to certain things, such as life-death situations. What I mean is simply that we can be in control of our emotions, rather than be controlled by them. |(o_o) emoticon

Repetition bugs the hell out of me. Whether it's someone asking me something over and over again or even if it's eating the same meal week in week out. I don't know what it is but as someone as something starts repeating, it annoys me immensely. Especially the asking the same question over and over again, once it hits the third time my temper just snaps.

Also whistling that goes on for longer than 5 seconds. The most irritating noise in the world. Keep it to yourself, no-one else around you is enjoying it.

People talking when they are eating, that annoys me so much. Also when you are in a busy area like a train station, people become incapacitated. Just stand in the middle of a walkway, block the escalator, cut across, push. Ridiculous.

Oh yesss, there are some small things that piss me off at the point to want to kill the person who made that, in a joke mood but still angry. When were are going to work on a book a girl in my class always says "which pageee~~?" it is soo repetitive, even when the teacher repeats one hundred times the number of the page, there is her shrilly voice asking for the page...how annoying.
And she is only one girl, there is another one who wants the teacher to repeat everything again (i'm in school).
And recently the word 'music' has been attached to the argot, instead of "which song is that?" people say "which music is that?", in spanish is very troublesome.
AND A FRIGGIN sound that comes from my fridge that sounds by coincidence in the midnight while trying to sleep P(T_T) emoticon

Don’t know if this counts as small, but it pisses me off regardless. Young “misanthropes.”

Teen misanthropy, as I’ve come to view it in my 21 years of life, is just angst that wannabe edgy teens, and early twenty-somethings expound in an effort to make themselves feel like they’re superior to the average dolt whom they criticize, yet through all their whining, are unable to recognize they’re just as useless, and unproductive.

This tends to come as a byproduct of them ripping off ideas from much smarter thinkers, and artists without even bothering to question their validity.

It often appears to me that when people use terms like “idiot,” or “moron” to describe humanity, or talk about their “lack of faith” in humanity, they only do so because they’re under the impression that they were fortunate enough to be born to an elite cadre of intellectuals, and the rest are just inherently stupid, and useless. “Man, people are so stupid! Look how they’ve messed this world up! Meanwhile, I’ll go do nothing about the problems plaguing our society. I’ll just go watch some Bill Hicks, and George Carlin, and rip off some of their observations so I can seem edgy, and in your face! I‘m so awesome.”

I know, however, that when people say, “humans are stupid,” “human” tends to be a proxy for “American.” I know this because the people who’ve told me humans are stupid are always American, and while it’s possible that I’m wrong, I figure it highly unlikely that all of them are worldly travelers, and pretty much speak with a highly limited experience with human beings.

I think everyone has their pet peeves. Not cynical at all. For me, its when someone even my kids or my husband put their feet on me. I can't stand it and it makes me so mad. Another thing is when Im at the store and if I happen to have a parking spot close to the store. Im trying to load my kids and my stuff in the car and I turn around and there is a car waiting on me to be done and pull out so they can have my spot. They are holding up traffic, etc just to get my spot. Now if they would stop and think, by the time I get everything in and get in the car and get settled they could have found a new spot and have walked in the store already. /(>C<)\ emoticon *Sigh* It really bugs me. But with the girls that lived with you, I think I would have lost it on them and Im a pretty laid back person.
