It's a bit odd though that DtB has also been serialized into a manga just recently, and its story continues after the events of the first season as well. So will the season 2 follow the new manga's story or will it take place during the time Hei and Yin left Tokyo?
I like DtB.. more it`s one of my favorite anime..

The second season premieres in October and Hiei won't become a main character. There's a new main character in the sequel. Just wait what would happens to be in the second season.

Awww, If Hei's not the main character this time, it might lose it's novelty because in the first season he was one of the most interesting characters. However, he's still in it prodding around hell's gate so it's still cool.

Awesome news, did not expect any new season of this Anime. I liked it really, except maybe last episode which was... quite crappy.

The first season ended off very well and I wasn't expecting a second season. I wonder how they are going to continue the story... I mean, it was left very open-ended, but I just felt like they had wrapped up everything with the characters. There will probably be a bunch of new characters in this one... But I hope to see some old ones still in this.

Yeah! The first season kind of left me hanging...they killed off like half the characters and left the detective knowing that Hei(Li) might be a contractor! I cannot wait!
