-Dragon Ball: Final Bout
-Dragon Ball Z: Budokai
-Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3
I’d like to get Raging Blast. I hope it’s good. I wished I had played the other TB games, especially since watching videos on YouTube. The moves look SICK!

Ha-Hu-Ho! Uzamaki Barrage!
I have several two Naruto games for the Gamecube and one for the Wii, and my cousin has Ultimate Ninja 2 for the PS2. I also have the Bleach game for the Wii. They're not so much games for the sake of games as they are games for the sake of fandom?? But- they're fun to play with other people.

I prefer original video games, rather than those based off a book, movie, anime or manga. However, that's not to say ones based of those things can't be good!
I don't own any games based of films, but I own a couple from anime.

Mines were:
Few Dragonball/Naruto games.
1 Yu-gi-oh! game for the GBA. (Don't ask for a name, can't remember)
Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou
Hmnmmm... Can't think of anything else.

I've bought my fair share of games that were based off anime, most of them being shounen, and therefore fighting games. Out of the series that I've bought (including One Piece, Bleach, YuYu Hakusho, Dragonball Z, and Jump Ultimate Stars), the Naruto games are the only ones I actually playthrough for fun. I've beat all the games, but that was more for me just to feel like I got my money's worth.
If I actually go back to play one for giggles, it's Naruto. The English voice over is horrible, and the early ones don't look so pretty, but it's gotten refined and more engaging with each incarnation, and that sad fact keeps me buying them as they come out.
The ones I didn't like were the ones where the game took the series and turned it into an RPG. The story was pretty much identical to the series, and involved a lot of long boring cutscenes, poorly executed graphics and sound, and was just a cookie cutter of any old RPG.
The game play was dull (look for this item, you found it? Great. Now travel across the map and grind until you find this next item), and the battle system was the old tired turn-based system where you just hit your opponent until it's dead.
Those I could do without.

There aren't many good ones... I remember playing a Sailor Moon RPG game for the SNES that was really good though, the only problem with it was that it was really hard (I used cheats to get to max level, and the final boss was still really hard to beat).
...now I want to play that again... oh, there was a japanese Magic Knight Rayearth RPG that was really good, too.

Some are great, and some arn't. Probably half-half, it depends on whos making it, and what its based off.

There are some great games based on Animes but mainly by Nartuto/Bleach
For naruto I'd have to say the
Narutimate Accel 2 (JAP) for the PS2 is one hell of game, extremely fun and has a large variety of characters + specials
Naruto Ninja Storm (ENG) for the PS3, amazing graphics despite not having all the new characters but hopefully they'll release another version with updated storyline + chars.
For Bleach, I've tried a the Wii ones and it was kinda "eh".
The best IMO are the Bleach : Heat of the Soul series on PSP, another japanese game. Excellent battle system, many characters with their unique specials and great graphics for a PSP game.
Mainly I'd have to say if the games were made by Japanese game developers, it'll probably be good because some of the English ones just don't cut it.

Abt dissapointing abt anime games is that it's very rare to find any that is really innovative and has depth... Most are just half-assed programed, and the name of the anime in the title seems more reason to buy it than the actual content. Only example that is even worse are movie-based games, but that's not belonging in here so I won't go into detail...
Well among all this boring anime games there are still some good once like the FMA games. But I think games that aren't based on anything but themselves will always be the better chocie. The only thing anime games can really offer is the ability to play with your beloved characters.

I only played Knights of the Zodiac for playstation 2 and I have to say it really like it, and bleach for psp I always thought that will be so fun to play with other players
I feel almost the same way about anime game adaptions as I do about movie and even book game adaptions. Most are there to make the money the original didn't. They serve as a profit increase and not as a game to be remembered. Of course that isn't always the case. Spin-offs, sequels/ prequels, and the like tend to fair better against critics than a direct game translation, ie. Lego Star-Wars.
Although I usually feel a bit better about anime games than I do about movie games. DBZ Budokai was pretty good imo, but it definitely does not contend with other veteran fighting games.
tl; dr: Meh, anime games are alright.

Well I don't really think that people put that much effort into anime games in the first place. Most of them expect the titles to sell just because the fans of the anime will buy them, which is actually fair enough. I don't think that if there was a good anime game out there, that many people who are not fans would buy. I think that the point of anime games is to explore characters and play with your favorite ones and sometimes go into other plot lines.
One funny think that I've noticed is that games that are made into anime usually do very well or turn out to be quite good. (Fate/stay night to name an example)

Well, actually the anime-based video games are very good, with a breathtaking picture quality that can not be denied, fighting video games are incredible, so I agree that this type of video made juices, after than bored with the same subject, since there is no problem.
