Would you date your self?
1 month 3 weeks ago
I might, but most likely not because we would have way too much in common...I wouldn't be able to learn anything new from 'myself', haha. I think a partner has to have some similarities, but they also have to have some interesting things about them that I don't have myself so that conversation won't always be about the same topics. Alternatively, being with a 'myself' that's quite opposite to me would be fun as well.
You know I have acutally thought about that question before,and I would always come up with the answer No enjoy a relationship like that.lol I couldnt see myself dating myself or a person with the same personality as me because I just think that would be way BORING.Dating a person who has an awesome personality(but not the same as yours) and has good qualities would be the ideal way to go,and plus...It adds some spice into life.XD

Maybe..
I mean I like lots of guy stuff but I'm girly too. I met a guy who has lots of things in common with me and I do mean a lot and I don't really think he's boring. I guess it depends on the person really.

@Rin-chan
Well the reason why I said it would be boring is bcuz I was thinking about being with a person every singal day and all you would see is your self basicaly.So that to me would get boring and the relationship would get dull and you also wouldnt be able to see anything new from that person if they were exactly like you.I mean its fun at first to get to know a person who likes the same things as you or even deeper,but im my opinion it would get Dull and boring.Its like you said "it depens on the person".X)

Well i guess i will give it a try but it will be somewhat awkward
If your heart is empty, you can't fill it up with another hole. You need someone who is different so he/she can fill in your missing parts.
A complementary partner is usually what people seek to cover their own shortcomings and strengthen and evolve both parties in the relationship. Being with some one who has the exact same habits, values, flaws, and whatnot could lead to an unbalanced lifestyle. Exactly the same might be too much...
Unless of course the female version of me possesses many of the characterstics sought by the superficial male :P

I would actually, because I'm that ego-centric. That is, if I translated well to a male... Though I'm sure my own personality, in someone else, would annoy me eventually. I annoy myself sometimes.

LOL, no, I'd drive myself nuts! Although I would look much better as a guy than I do as a girl... *Still debating whether or not to get a sex change*
Lol yes of course!(If there was a girl version of me
)
to be a bit more serious, alot of people are always saying we look for the opposites of ourselves and yeah that's true. I mean it would get boring being with someone that does the samething as you who also thinks like you. The problem is alot of relationship end up failing with a Girl or Guy saying this line
"We don't have anything in common"
See with things like that it just pretty much throws the whole "Opposites attract" speech. Honestly it's kinda getting ridiculous seeing people saying, I mean cmon there's tons of opposites here. A hardworker would never be attracted to a lazy person,

I don't think that would make for an interesting relationship as others have said. Plus if my boyfriend were exactly like me in every way, I'd start to wonder why he was with me in the first place, j/k XP.
But anyway, a relationship needs something to work on and if they were exactly like me, where would the fun of learning about them be? Sure it's great to have someone who knows the things you like, but isn't it much better to have someone who's a bit different, that way you both can appreciate each other's qualities that much more and maybe even change to better yourself? ^_^

I guess not... Let alone my personalities first, it feels quite odd to me to date with an opposite-sex copy of myself, I mean, it triggers some sort of immoral feelings to me.
And then talking about personality, I am that kind of introverted and cold person, I guess nobody would ever want to date with someone like that...
