Well well well ... dunno what to say ... i've put some stuff on my wall 'bout me, and some of you guys have already been giving me some pretty wised advices on my firsts wallpapers!
I can tell you that i'm a real noob into walling, i've been into advertising and ... it's kinda different ... but guess what i'm loving it, walling and wallers are amasing !! ^^

There are various ways of contributing, like participating in forum discussions, commenting/critiquing wallpapers, submitting scans and wallpapers. You can take up wallpaper making if that's what you're interested in. There are various groups that list resources that you can use as a starting point. You can also submit scans if you have artbooks/things you can scan. Anime screencaps are definitely not going to make it to the scan gallery unless you vector/recg those.

That's the number of wallpaper that you can download. Paper is used to download scan as well. Each scan has its own paper cost. To gain paper, all you have to do are post on threads & submitting some wallpapers. But be careful, once your wallpaper rejected, your paper is decreased. It's better to submit it to session zero first.
