I thought writing a little introductory post about me would count as "commuting with the community" thing :3?

My name's Ran and I'm new-ish(?) here. I lurk here and there from time to time. I think I had my account for a long time or so but I rarely signed on because I already have a wallpaper that my friend made me lol. Ever since I have Windows7 though, I'm on a look out for new wallpapers since you know, I can now put the background image into a slide show.

I have PS3/CS4 on my laptop but I hardly know how to use it. I know how to make little icons for livejournal and all such as, changing their colors, adding fonts, changing sizes, etc. but I'm not a real pro at it. So I cannot really contribute wallpapers without making a laughing stock about myself lol

Hm, I have a facebook, myspace, livejournal, twitter..I probably got all of the bases covered so if you want to ask me, do not hesitate to ask!

I don't bite at all. Really friendly (IMO don't quote on me..I guess). I like KPOP and JPOP; average fangirl much? XD; KPOP going downhill with 2PM/DBSK drama for now..hm

I'm trying to be active with all my might and I hope you liked reading this little intro without too much squinting :D!

Welcome to AP! I'm glad you're interested in our walls. I'm really happy that you want to be an active member. Since you think you're not a person with the ability to make walls (Like me) you can just help the site out by commenting on our forums with your opinions and critiquing walls in ways you feel appropriate.

Also, I strongly recommend you read the FAQ before you get really into the site so that you can get a better feel of what this site is about, and also so that you don't happen to get into any trouble.

so you make icons on LiveJournal! that's so awesome! I always loved the icons there

as for wallpaper making, don't be afraid to give it a try! I suggest you make a few "test trials" and post them in session zero where members can help you and give you advice on how to improve your skills then try to get a wallpaper into the gallery... also, you can follow tutorials (there's a lot of them out there).

WELCOME to Anime Paper and I agree with 3cats, also search for tutorials on Deviant Art, you would be surprised at how many you can find to help you out. The best is to experiment on photoshop. All I do on photoshop is Avatars and signatures, and render, still trying to get good at making signatures though. Read the FAQ in case you have a question already answered there.
