@ Albel-Ryuuji: of course! That's basically the reason why I vector in the first place, lol. And I'm sure many people here would agree that own input is more appreciated than a 1-on-1 copy of the scan. When done well, that is ^^.

@.@ I'm confused, I'm not sure to have really understood what are allowed anime/manga or not, so I prefer to ask if I could use an image about Clamp's Kobato or not for this contest.

Kobato anime is aired from October 6, 2009 so is acceptable. Try to prefer anime/magazine scans before the manga covers (since it started from 2005)

Since we don’t know who is vectoring what, what would happen if a same scan is vectored by two different users and posted (in order words, vectored twice)… I know that chances for that to happen are quite slim with all these series to choose from (even though I said that, I’m sure most will be picking up scans from the most popular series out there like Pandora Hearts, Kobato, Nyan Koi, etc), but you never know.
I guess it’d be an awkward situation to be in… well I’m sure I wouldn’t like that to happen to me or anyone. Anyways, that thought just crossed my mind today and got me wondering (just a bit)… So I decided to write it down here.

Haha Kakashi, I was wondering the same. It's also the reason why I haven't decided on a scan yet, because I'm pretty sure someone else is thinking about doing a Canaan vector as well :3
Since it wont happen at an exactly the same time, others that are working on the same scan that was posted will probably have to restart with a new scan, as painful as that might be.
Why don't everyone tell us the anime he choose, after that, if 2 members are making a vector from the same anime, they shall talk with PM to know other's scan, I think it will avoid vector duplication ^^

First come, first served would be said in the very direct manners. But:
There is really a low chance of making the same scan by only 8-15 people joining in, and when happens, then what? It will NEVER turn out the same, an APs gallery accepts the same vector made by different users and so do we.
A solution would be to PM me or Mouton which scan are doing the members, but not everybody guess would like to tell it, not speaking from members who will join in as surprise.

Wow you have created two beautiful vector images... I'm really impressed; I began to work on mine yesterday but I've chosen a very difficult scan and I hope I will finish it in time =__="
