I made this quite awhile ago when I was planning to make a graphics site. I made the feathers as a brush as you can see, and cut out Belldandy. At first I thought the attempt wasn't so great, but when I slapped her onto the background, it looked a lot better.

Honestly, I think the only thing I don't like about the wallpaper is the font for the primary text. Any thoughts on your end?

I don't know why, but seems she really fits blue and white.

while I actually like the cloud very much, I don't think I am fond of the feather brushes. well, maybe it will look better if you actually make solid feathers. flowing around. not some transparent one. or maybe you can keep i a bit transparent like now, but with some other way. not too sure how though.

as for text, I think it will be better if you make the color more saturated and make it looks like... a crystal? well,something like that.

just a suggestion, what about having the character at the center? and the text on the lower center too? well, just keep experimenting and I am sure you will find a suitable one.

I'm not quite fond of the brush myself... it looks short and chubby to me, haha.
