What is your opinion about money ???
Hmmm,
Well, money is simply and purely an economic factor. It's there to help our transactions of goods and/or services without the old system of barter (when you change a good for another good or service for service, etc...). It is something that is socially accepted to be worth a certain amount, and it's easy to carry and other factors. So in it's essence, money is just a pure economic factor.
But there are other ways to view it. For instance, some view money as the proof of their hard labour. I view money like that at times, where money shows the fruits of your labour. Cause money is important to survive in today's modern society. However one must not confuse true life with money, for instance, one shouldn't confuse true friendship, love, and other bonds to be equal to money. Well...that's my opinion.
I believe money is important if you're living in today's society so you can at least live decently. But not important enough to not have people to care for.
Hehe, if I had alot of money, I'd try and start a small business (I guess that's the mind one gets from studying economics at University
) cause you'd end up getting a steady stream of money instead of just a lump sum which you'll use up in time.

MONEY IS GREAT, MONEY IS EVERYTHING..(well mostly)
I would invest it until I'm rich. Then blow it off on something incredibly stupid, but fun.

without money there is no fun, because you wouldnt have a computer for example
and without money you also cant live because you need food
so yeah, money is almost everything and is very very important
Money is also the source of enjoy, money gives it all to us
and ofcourse if I was rich I would do everything which I cant do
and donations is one of them :D

Money is no doubt a necessary commodity in today's world, but in excess it can be a malicious puppet master. Money can control people's motives in almost any situation, and cupidity can even lead to violence or eventual suicide.
Christianity believes that money is the root of all evil, but I view it more as a circumstantial factor: too much can be detrimental but too little is devastating.
That's my two-cents worth. =/

Well, it all depends on a person's perspective. One may agree with you vyvit, at lease I do, and others can see how you CAN by happiness and love with money. Like how if you're rich you can buy anything you want, leading to happiness. Or buying your girlfriend diamond rings? Haha... I don't know... but I do agree with you vyvit.
Money is only bad in irresponsible hands, like drug addicts who would just buy more drugs or people giving brives to get out of jail or win elections but in good hands like oprah who gives to people it good and without money we would just use something else like rock or shells which would really fit in my wallet

Money is almost everything you need in life~Without money, you don't get pizza, chicken, vegetables, soda, fruit juice,...even 1 tiny piece of chocolate candy!Of course, money can't buy true love and friendship, but how can you be happy if you hardly have any money at all?You don't get nice clothes to wear, games to play,...blah blah you get my point,NO FUN.There're people who do crimes to get money, but it's only because they want a happy life(not including drugs and those horrible stuffs..><),which is everyone in this world's wish as well.Money gives you what you want,in every single way,big or small...

That's a very common misconception and rather understandable when looking from the surface.
Trade and exchange is a necessary component in life. Before there was money or monetary notes to be more encompassing, people traded goods and commodities.
It's called bartering.
The only problem with bartering is that it's solely based on what the goods are valued by the individuals involved in the trade. Values change based on who your dealing with. There is no standard or basic units.
Two chickens and a roll of silk could be traded for a cow and some tools to one person. However, another person may see that as a bad trade and want more or something different.
The use of monetary notes setforth a basic value in exchanges. A dollar to one person is valued as a dollar to another. This lessened the possibility of arguement and conflict among individuals.
Money is relatively a good thing...unless you get a papercut. It, like everything else, has a use and makes the world an easier place to live in. You can use it to purchase items you need or want. Receiving money acts as a social tool and morale booster. It gives individuals goals in their life and promotes growth, advancement, and prosperity.
Despite the good, there's always a bad which is caused by the negativity in human nature.
Greed, self-indulgance, lack of control, corruption, anger, dispute, hatred, etc...
People who kill for money or use it blindly for their own gain without regards to anyone else but themselves cause all the pain and suffering.
It's absurd to hear such violence over scraps of paper.
MONEY IS GREAT, MONEY IS EVERYTHING
Another misconception. Money only has value when people give it value. In US history during the Civil War, the South started to print it's own currency. Gradually, however, it lost it's value because the South was losing. Without their promise of a separate government, the bills were useless since they couldn't be traded to the North. Heaps of it couldn't buy you a thing back then. A lot was used as stuffing, kindling, or even wallpaper.
Economic inflation in exchange rates could make money worthless.
That just shows you how fragile the value of a dollar really is.
If ever the world were to turn into complete chaos, money wouldn't help you apart from helping build a fire or being used as insulation. Because there would be no use for it. There would be no system to set it's standard assuming the economy turned to dust from whatever event brought a catastrophe. The only thing people would want is the essentials- food, shelter, space, transportation, and security.
The point is...don't let the ideas of money and wealth get to your head. What you think is everything can turn into nothing quickly.
Christianity believes that money is the root of all evil
Really? I mean, once I had exactly $6.66 in my wallet and that was kinda an evil sign... I was always taught it was greed, not money. The two are sometimes made synonymous by some people, yet that's their misconception and not applicable to everyone. Earn a good living and help others as well- be a good samaritan- that's what we were taught.
Please avoid making generalizations in the future like that. That's exactly how misconception and then stereotypes and misunderstandings start...avoid it as much as possible.
KosmikFunkSquadmoney is the root of all evil, =/
yes, i believe it is. but evil tastes so good *as i take a drag off a cigarette i paid 4 bucks a pack for*
Money can't bring happiness, neither it can bring love to your heart bur sure you will be in trouble if you don't have money.
that's where I say lets earn money but don't save it like an idiot for ever. Instead use it to make your beloved ones happy, buy them gifts, take them to places they like, shower them with your love!
what's the use of money if I cant change my day, my life by it? ^__^

Hmm...I'm a Christian and I don't necessarily agree with that. Even in sermons I've been taught that its not money that is evil but the way you use it. You can certainly use money for good things and donate to various charities. What matters is that you don't let money rule over you and become your life. Which means eventually you'll go into debt and be robbed if you don't watch the way you use it wisely. I personally aren't obsessed with money or anything. I always save and buy the cheap things rather than high quality expensive items. To me the difference in quality simply isn't worth the extra money I have to spend, though I admit this is just my opinion.

Admittedly society has reached the stage where you cannot live without money which has caused massive problems for many people who don't have any >_<. Gone are the days where you could just barter with your neighbours!
XD
Money is a means to an end. It puts food on my table and it provides me with lovely little anime books, CD's and other merchandise. It's not central to our lives in a psychological sense (or at least, it shouldn't be), but it is critical to each of us as a basic means of trade. That is all it is.
Another Christian here, and I concur with that. For example, being rich in itself is not a sin; letting money take over your life – now that is wrong.

Money is life, thats what i think.
It is exactly how is with RPG's, money isn't important rather experience. though money is helpful and useful but not to the extent that it will give you exactly what can make you truly happy.
since it is physical, i say money is just material things unconverted. a kind of raw things. but like everything we had, it'll pass away.
