I like it too becuase this could actually happen and it's more realistic. There's nothing crazy and zany going on. No robots, nobody with superpowers, no crazy antics. Except for the dog this is something real. Music is awesome too. This is probably my top 5 anime. :p

Full moon sway, gently in the night of one fine day... Who could ever forget that song from this wonderful series!
What made me love this anime, even before this was shown, i was already playing the guitar. Its a very enjoyable series, 26 eps long, even for those who doesnt play any instruments, but loves music. There's also a bit of romance in the title between Maho and koyuki. If you're to compare it to a sports anime, its like Slam dunk, where the main chara is new to the sports/music thing, and gets better as the episodes go by.
Manga counterpart is still ongoing, and a LOT has happened already.. But one may not be turned on with the manga, since this is a music anime, and you cant really hear music while reading the manga. but still a good one. Also another reason why to watch this, is because Maho is kawaii >_>

Yeah it's funny to hear them speak engrish in the japanese dub too. :p

BECK is probably one of my favorite series not only because it's so awesome but also because I'm a huge fan of rock. Too bad they don't have another season, it's really one of the better shows out there. It's what convinced me to pick up my first guitar a few years back.

The Anime and the Manga are a bit boring......
But the OST is fantastic!

Beck just has some of the best story telling in an anime so far. For a slice of life anime, it does not feel like one.
Essentially we're all taken on a journey and we just have to see where it ends.
Plus the music is awesome.

What can I say about BECK? Its awesome!! I'm a huge rock fan plus I've recently learned to play guitar!! BECK is really inspiring
Too bad there's no season 2. Doesn't look like theres gonna be a season 2 coz the clip show with the photos at the end of the anime covered alot of the manga in a few minutes.

I usually don't like "slice of life" animes but I really enjoyed watching BECK. Being a rock music fan, I thought it was really cool seeing an anime about the genre I love.
Well, I haven't seen this one yet, but for what I just read, I think I will!. I'll come back when I've seen it!.
The OST for this show is pretty good. The anime does a good job on character depth I felt, and you've got to admit, the english spoken in the japanese dub is hilarious! Wasn't the ending a bit abrupt?

Well at first eps1 was really boring then I put it away and watched something else, when I didn't have anything else I started to watch Beck, then I got hooked! I freaking love this anime! I must say 1 of my top 10 anime's.
After watching it, I got the erge to start playing guitar! So I'm starting shortly! It's just how you can express your feelings throught music! Like the main character did, I don't remember his name cause I watched it 2 or 3 months ago! But the whole time I watched it, yuou can see the evolution of a person when starting playing and then over a few months or years the growth that person went through! It's amazing how music can talk to your soul!
I mostly love rock, but blue I've just tasted a few weeks ago and I must say it can talk to you, just like meaningfull rock. Not all rock is good, some of it is a load of @#$%
I would recommend this anime to all music lovers! Enjoy!
