I know it's a vague topic. I'm just wondering, in a battle who would win? Kira, the coordinator or Amuro, the newtype. And further, which mobile suit that the piloted would win. Kira piloted three mobile suits. First it was the Strike, then the X1OA Freedom, then finally the Strike Freedom. Amuro piloted two mobile suits, three if you count the Guncannon. The question, actually questions, in a battle which mobile suits would the pilots operate, and wh would win in the end? I'm probably not going to get anyone to answer, but hey I was just wondering. I believe that Kira in the Strike Freedom would beat all.

It all depends on what "mental" status & which period of them, when they fighting!
Let's talk about it in little details;

Mech= Kira "Strike Freedom Gundam" VS Amuro "Hi New Gundam"

Pilot Skill= SEED mode VS Newtype power

Weapon data= "Fin-Funnel" VS "Dragoon Systems"

Defence skill= Both of them have shield, but Amuro can use the "Funnel" to create a Tri-force field

Pilot ESP = In Gundam History, The only pilot that can "Pressure" the whole city of Dakar , is "Judo" from ZZ
Gundam series. Kira is strong indeed, only when he is on a Gundam! Amuro can sense of give
certains "pressure" too, but not in a City scale! and Judo do it without sitting in a cockpit or any
support of OS or P. Frame systems!

Pilot Physical strength = Kira is a Super Coordinator!
Amuro is a Newtype; ESP = "Pressure" "Sense" Military hand combat skills?

Ultimately, They both are inperfect in certain ways! if you recall from the episodes.
If both of them happen to cross fight in the same Era or on a game systems.

Is all up to the timing, environments effcts, & mental conditions they are in!!
PS: Gundam Pilots seems to fight a lot better, with their Lover or Comrade in the battlefields!
Example: Domon in GodGundam with Rain! Love-Love..........Ahem.. better not say it! :p

yup, he did have new type abilities aside from his seed mode which makes him better at controlling the aerods "Dragoon System". actually before there Gundam Seed, amuro was the best gundam pilot for me but then Kira appeared and he shows more than hat is expected of him and rightfully deserves the name of Ultimate Coordinator.

Well it really depends. I doubt that Kira is stronger than Amuro rightr now, but SEED is still a developing series. Given enough seasons, Kira could easily surpass Amuro. But taking into consideration that Destiny is the C.E. reciprocal of Z, Kira is far better than Amuro was back then.

This is a valid arguement since it just took Kira 3 years to attain a status which is similar to Amuro's. Though the tough thing is... Kira would not be accepted by Amuro's fans. It was the same with Kirk and Archer... People need to see that though they argue that SEED/Destiny is a failure as a series, it still doesn't discredit the fact that Kira has the highest potential as a Pilot in the Whole Gundam multiverse

Quite right. But I am one of those who agree that Kira being the ultimate coordinator doesn't necessarily equate to god mode. He merely has no unwanted traits. But then now that you think, what kind of abilities did Dr. Hibiki place in Kira exactly? He wanted his son to attain perfect refinement so he placed him in the Ultimate Coordinator project. I have a strong feeling that he placed more efforts on him than all the other previous experiments combined. So knows who the full extent of Kira's capabilities? There might be some truth in the god mode misconception afterall.

Remember Kira bashers. A God is blessed with skills from his birth... Kira acquires skills, he does not have them by default. We have to understand that the Kira we now see is a product of what happened to him in SEED. He did not attain God-like skill overnight.

He may not have God-like abilities but he certainly has God-like potential. I'm not surprised if he will soon be able to easily defeat both U.C. and A.U.'s greatest pilots.

Amuro was the better pilot until Kira came, Kira its the ultimate corrdinator and he can use the Strike Freedom to its full potential

Definitely Kira, I think. other people have said my reasons before (about Kira and his developing newtype powers) but basically, Strike Freedom owns all.
