How does your friends feel about mangas?
Some of my friends feel that it's stupid but mostly my classmates thinks it's cool.

I had this friend once who nevered read a manga before. One day, i gave her a naruto manga volume 1 to read and guess what... She killed herself the next day. She left a note: "I tried to be a ninja but failed" Another friend heard of this and hung heself. She left this written on the wall in blood: "I tried to me like Sasuke but failed".
My friends and I have the same hobby. We love reading manga...

All of my friends love anime and manga as much as me, one of the reasons why we're friends i suppose! lucky me :P
Of all my friends that likes anime, i am the only one who is into manga reading. i like the art, my friends think its kinda boring jsut readin, they mostly like into video. but eventhough thats what they think, i am still into manga because i enjoy reading it! im trying to influence one of my friends to read the death note manga. because she's into the death note anime series. i'll try to succeed. haha.

me too xD !! I'm scared If I tell my friends that i like to watch anime and read manga, they will think I'm stupid but this year, I just found out all my friends in my group are all obsessed in animes ^^

I convert people to mangadom and thereby make them my friends. i've converted 14 people so far and they are now obsessed with it.
Some of my friends just accept it and some borrows my manga. I mean it should be any effects on your friendships because they shouldn't like you less because you read manga and I mean, they love you the way you are and not what you are doing... That's the way real friends should be^^

A lot think that's for kid... They said that pictures are ugly, and they prefer others stupids comics. When I try to explain them that mangas are interesting it's all the time the same answer : "pfff, it's stupid"

My friends would always give me this weird look everytime I walked to the Manga section of the book store. They never got the point why I would want to buy them or even watch Anime. They used to laugh at me when I bought books or watch Anime. After a while they just got used to me reading Manga and watching Anime. I think that the reason that they stopped was because another close friend of theirs came out and said that he loved reading Manga and watching Anime as much as I did. Their close friend was like the "cool guy" and I guess they must have figured that it was cool since he was doing it.

My friends hate anime/manga
Some of my friends think that manga is a waste of money and time while others think it's the best thing in the world besides that i a lot of friends that have varying opinons and come from different backrounds so i guess it's only natural that some like it and some don't
All my friends love manga. They are obsessed with it! ><

My friends would always say that if I stopped loving anime the world would end in a second. I meet all my freinds loving anime and they got used it the second day I started hanging out with them. But I only have one friend who actually watches and reads anime. My other friends just borrow my Shonen Jumps to read once in a while.
