Fullmetal Alchemist Movie: Conqueror of Shambala
Hey
I have just recently watched the Fullmetal Alchemist movie: Conqueror of Shambala...5 times... I was so excited, after watching all the episodes! What did you loki about it? Or, what didn't you like about it? Do you think it was it good?

It was almost completely shunned by me forever due to my severe dislike of the ending of the series.
I only watched it because one of my friends nagged the hell out of me to 'put down the anger' and watch the 'real' series finale.
So I did.
It lacked Roy Mustang content. There was a BIT, but nowhere near enough.
Seriously, that guy needs his own series.

I personally both loved and hated it. I loved the real life connections with Hitler and stuff. And the fact that the anime was amazingly well done. Great voice acting too. The bad is the part where Ed stayed in Germany and not "Shambala" (forgot the real name) and he ends up in, to say the least, not my favorite pairing. So yeah. Still awesome though.
It was ok. maybe a lil better than average. i almost cried when ed left winry behind. The plot itself was really complicated with germany and WW2 which is innovative that the creators decided to tie the anime in to history and everything.

Honestly.. when i saw the ending in the series, i was disappointed, the two brothers didn't end up together..
the ova got them together.. but now they're both in a different universe, lol. which isn't that great.. but at least they're together now. so i prefer the ova ending than the series

The ending was disappointing, it would have been better if they stayed in amestris. But then that would be fanservice, since everyone wants Ed to return, thus making it predictable... but still...
I abhor the ending. I wish they'd just made it so that it'd make everyone happy (including the fans). I also found myself annoyed with Noah[sp?]. I never really understood nor was intrigued by her character.

I didnt really like it until the little last part where Ed finally went back to his own world, but then returning home! =(
I really liked it I just thought it was a little light on the action. Sure the end had some good sequences but otherwise it was a tad boring. And, I saw it before I saw the end of the series (in fact I still heven't seen it) so I had to have episodes 16 thru the end. And, well, there were alot of times we had to pause so I could get something explained.
You know, but otherwise I REALLY liked it.

I thought it was okay. It was hard for me to believe that Roy Mustang was so depressed over what happened to Ed because he seemed happy in the end of the series. Also, the ending made me really sad. I can't believe Winry gets left behind after she waited so long for Ed to come back.

The ending was kind of messed up but story was pretty good.
Was a good movie... but i think that the fans was just little disappointed about it cause, it is good but not that good .. ithink that they have to do another movie XD that wil be intresting.. :P
It was indeed a love-hate relationship. I'd say they did the movie well enough with the collision of the Alchemist and 'regular' world. The plot was epic and eventful, true to the story, and by all means a good closer for the entire series.
What I didn't like about it was the lack of development of characters especially with Winry and the "relationship" between Mustang and Riza. Other things such as the timeframe between the movie and episode ending of the series would have done more good to be included. They only briefly touched upon these things and focused too much on events leading up to the main battle. It should have been longer.
In the end, I wanted to know more of what happened back in the Alchemist world, to Winry and Mustang and the others, and less on Ed and Al...though the ending was also good...
In short, the movie was true to the story of Ed and Al's adventure, yet left a lot of things out with a lack of development and closure to individuals that were as equally important as Ed and Al and those directly relavant to the main storyline.
Great movie. Didn't close it out for me. Didn't feel like it ended at all and I'm waiting for a sequel or another series to spring up and continue from what was left off.

I never did like the anime after the Greed arc. I thought it just got really bad and the movie didn't do much for me either. I thought that the movie was boring and the ending was horrible. I really did not like how they kind of just left Winry all alone.
I don't think that another series will pop up. If it does it should be based entirely off of the manga, which is doing a great job. Only 10 or 11 more chapters till it is completed.

Well.. the FMA movie was a little confusing after all. it keeps on moving back and forth. If you havent watch the series to it the whole movie wouldnt make sense much. But i think the plot to this movie is kinda boring and not interesting.. For me i only watch the first two eps and i stop since its wayy..too boring and the plot is nt that good.
