How many episodes is perfect?

26 Is always awesome, but 51 was good for FMA.
Bleach is also good, although it spans more than 100+ episodes.
12-14 Episodes is also good, looking back at Tsukihime, Haruhi Suzumiya and Elfen Lied.
They're all good to me lol

I think 26 episodes is pretty good. I mean, if you're watching an anime that doesn't have a complicated plot, that is fine. But I like watching long anime series. I'm usually more addicted to longer anime series and my fandom doesn't die down as easily.
Well, I guess I am a huge fan of complex, twisty plotlines... that's why I like my anime long.
However long it is, as long as there are no fillers, it's good enough... Think its best if an anime gives you the feeling tt you wont mind it continuing on and on becos you just want to see more of it. But if its quality is declining by the 20th ep, it's a signal to end already..

It depends on the anime, I'd say.
If they manage to get the whole story told and don't leave you confused with lots of questions and unaccomplished desires (xD), I think it's okay if it's short. Even the anime which have only 13 eps can be good - they just have to have a good storyline.
I loved FMA, but sometimes it's also annoying to have to watch so many eps to know how it ends.
Don't know, I personally don't like predefining things like that^^

I prefer like almost 50+ episodes. Coz' like the longer animes like Naruto or Bleach? Who knows when those are gonna end seeing they became a hit and both like have 120+ episodes or 200+ episodes or something like that. I mean if it becomes infinite, I may not even hope to see those infinite animes once I reach my last breath. =(
26 or 25 it's okay for me, it's long i was bored to continue... some story but if that story is very interesting ... so long is good but no more 50 ^_^' it's long and hard to save in my com >< ahhhh i don't have no space for them T^T
The longest anime ever is Sazae-san, I believe (yes, it beat Detective Conan; go look it up and be shocked) and I really hope neither Naruto nor Bleach will go that far. One Piece would also be overdoing it if they reaced Sazae-san volume.

Perfect anime episodes eh? well, well......To be honest..... I really, really, really like anime episodes which consist one to twenty six or one to 50....like gundam seed, gundam seed destiny, full metal alchemist, code geass, blood+, death note, eureka seven... if the series is more than that, it would just make the story plot getting very, very boring...like naruto...actually, it can end at episode 150~160..but the production is too damn stupid and ruin the whole story plot...if you guys ask me, i'd rather have that anime stop for a while and let it continues when it's ready....by doing that way, naruto anime could be a masterpiece man... 26 anime episodes is kinda good but there are anime that can't finish it perfectly like tenjou tenge...the whole story plot is getting better and suddenly the next day its just end...just like that...except for cardcaptor sakura and rurouni kenshin...although it has 70+ episodes, it still end pretty successfully...i definitely not agree when bleach putting fillers about bounto....kurosaki ichigo looks even weaker and doesn't have any action that are interesting...
I don't know if there is such a thing as a perfect amount of episodes. It can be as long as it needs to be for the creator to be able to convey all of the things he wanted to accomplish with the series.
28 or 56 is the norm for an anime tv series but i prefer 13 ep series because they get right to the point so... less fillers.

Anime like Haruhi Suzumiya is to short for my taste (even though its awsome) and anime that streches for a long time goes real slowly with each episode being really uneventful. Anime around 20 are the most common but they sometimes don't cover the amount of story they could have. I say 50 because Fullmetal Alchemist wasnt to long or short and it was great!
I really not fussed on how short it goes, but I do care how long it goes. I would have said 26 episodes is my limity BUT I will go further if it's a really enjoyable anime. The only anime I have watched that has gone further that 26 is Death Note - hence why I made the exception.
As I said how short it is doesn't bother me the slightest. Short and sweet. It often provides for a very good anime - so long as they get the story done then I am happy ^^.

I'd prefer less than 55 eps. I'd tend to get bored by the time I've reached the 100th episode and above.

For me, how many episodes in an anime isn't too important as long as the story of that anime is good then I'll follow the anime
