Hmm. Pokemon. XD Or DBZ...Or Sailor Moon. I dont remember. But I use to love them sooo much. I had like, everything I could get my hands on. For those shows..Merchandise(sp?) I meen.

Probably it was Sailor Moon. but it was a long long time ago. And the second was pokemon. But nowadays Sailor Moon is just boring for me (fans will kill me probably). Now I like anime like 'Gunslinger Girl', 'Higurasi no naku koro ni' or 'Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu'. But first anime that I watched knowing that it is anime was probably 'Spirited away'.

Mmmm... the first one I saw would be Doraemon, and DBZ was showing around too, but the first one I payed attention to (as in, following it because I liked it and not just because it was the only watchable cartoon at the moment) would be Rurouni Kenshin, at around age... 8-9 maybe?. That was what interested me in anime, and had me paying attention to any japanese cartoons around, but I couldn't really follow on that liking until many, many years later, thanks to the internet and some cable channels that started to have a bit of anime in their programming. In the meantime, I sucked it up and watched things like digimon and monster rancher, because, bad as they were, they were still better than the other cartoons at the time, save the almighty, all-powerful Animaniacs. Kids' programming sucks a lot around here. Plus I liked to watch bizarre monsters beat the snot out of each other. At least it made for fun fight scenes :P.

Kind of hard to tell, but i think it was Sailor Moon, or Dragonball, even maybe Tenchi Muyo...I would like to say Tenchi Muyo was it because i like it so much but i really think it was Sailor Moon over the other two.

I watched sailor moon as a child but started to watch anime when i first saw Naruto
Recently it was... Paranoia Agent.

My very first anime was probably Sailor Moon. Though the memory of it is somewhat vague, I do recall my younger 5-year-old-self calling it 'Sai-luh-Moon'. Funny, I'd argue with my friends about the name too
I used to collect Sailor Moon stickers and trivial stuff like that too - I was a young, diehard fan. But then my sticker got confiscated by my teacher and my interest in Sailor Moon dwindled from there. Not much of a fan now, nor do I watch or remember much about the anime.

Mine was doraemon. then, rurouni kenshin and dragon ball z. during that time i don't even know the anime term and even what an anime is. ah, miss those old days~

Even though I never really watched them "seriously", my first anime would be either Tekkaman Blade or Sailor Moon. But my first obsession anime that dragged me into the world of it all would be Evangelion, as it is for many.
