An interesting discovery (Planet)
Well, another planet to live?
It's hard to live there I'm sure.. But, If we can live there, it will be very good.. But, it's to far away to reach.. We need a high speed space ship! Yeah I know it's sound impossible now.. I hope I can step on that planet before lose my last breath in world..

Our planet will be dead before we reach the technology to get there
If only I could live forever
... I would have bought a beach house over there
That is if they develop the technology to appropriately terraform the planet

Major problems with considering this a habitable planet. sure they said that the planet is roughly the same mass of the earth and about the same distance from the sun as the earth is. however, this means nothing other then it resides in whats called the "habitable zone". nothing says what the composition of the atmosphere is, what the temperature is, or if there is any water. not even going to mention that is planet is so far away that travel there currently is impossible, we cannot even send a probe or rovers to explore this planet without it taking hundreds of years. i saw an interveiw with a scientist, the question asked him was, whether or not they will be pointing radio telescopes towards that planet, to see if any life currently exists on it. his answer was that if nothing had been detected from that direction previously there would be nothing to detect now. this planet may only be inhabitable in the way that we wouldnt be crushed as we enter the atmosphere (atmospheric pressure), that we wont melt or burn to death when we land (average global tempature), and that maybe we wouldnt experiences prolonged amounts of lethal radiation, such as might happen on mars.
Doesn't it orbit it's Sun ( a red drawf i think) in 13 days?

Hmm interesting wan
Unfortunately we will never find out if there is life there or not in our lifetimes. =P Too bad actually. My bets are that it will probably end up being uninhabitable just like what zealkai was talking about, up there. I still like to think that there is extraterrestial life out there, it's just that we will most likely never meet them. I mean look how big the galaxy is, let alone the universe! Not to burst the proverbial bubble or anything.
But I must agree, it is quite a discovery. I'm open to speculation. And after the reclassification of Pluto as a dwarf-planet last year, I guess I'm more interested in the cosmos than ever now.
