Seems like no one is up for an intelligent conversation. Eh? xP
I prefer realism, but sometimes I go from pessimist, to optimist, to realist.

I think that being optimist will lead you to bad surprises, being passive is the worst thing you can do.
Being realist is good but i think that if you foresee always the worst thing that can happen; you'll always have a good surprise and never be caught by surprise!

Hmm, I'm fairly pessumistic, but I dunno. *Shrug*
All of those things have their pro's and con's and we all have been optimistic/realistic/pessimistic at one point or another. I don't think one thing is better than the other, so oh well!

I try to avoid realism xO I tend to run away from the truth >_>

Never good to run away, because everything always ends up in catching you ...

I used to be a somewhat optimistic person, but after what seems like an endless string of bad events / surprises I started to switch between a mix of realism/pessimism... as a friend told me, it`s better to always expect the worst because if you are expecting the best and it doesn`t turn out as you thought you`re going to be really hurt, sad and disappointed (I didn`t believe him at first, but it happened to me so many times...well, I learnt the bad way xD) just my opinion :P

REALISM FOR GREAT JUSTICE.
The earth spins because of realism. Optimism + Passim= PWNT.
- Ignore my outburst >_>
Anyways realism is the right way to go. Optimists see the good thing of a problem, therefore they do not take action to fix the problem. A pessimist sees the problem of worse than it is. They also refuse to take action (lack of esteem). Realists take action therefore, we pwn.

You haven't told what do you think about that :
if you foresee always the worst thing that can happen; you'll always have a good surprise and never be caught by surprise!

Yes, but you'll always be ready whatever happens :-)
I usually don’t expect anything from anything so when I get praised or something I usually get surprised because I did not expect anything.
I cant deny I’m pessimistic… or maybe I’m just too demanding whit myself.
I don’t think so.
Optimistic people always think they can solve the problem.
Pessimistic think of the worst consequence of everything.
Realistic people just know things happen because is natural and real, and do nothing about it.
I just think that you can have all these qualities, if you handle them well. But if you don’t they’ll become problems.

I would have to agree with this statement, but instead of seeing the glass as half empty, I see it as being two times too big.
I think I am more of a realist. It is better to know every angle of a situation before it occurs.
