Optimism, Realism, or Passim?
Eh, I'm pretty much a realist. I can be some-what of a pessimist though. You'll only catch me optimistic if I'm being sarcastic. But, I usually speak in technical terms...so, I prefer realism.
I was once an optimist, but now Im more of a realist.

I would say that realism is the best... but i am a pessimist person because i've always been like this i always think the worse first and then i am realistic... but anyway it's just me...
Realism for life, I think. Idealism and such could only be used for arts, not for living. We have to face what's real. . . But on the other hand, I'm kinda spiritualistic. . .

I think it just depends on my mood, lol. If I'm upset or something gets me down then it makes me kind of pessimistic, but otherwise I like to be as optimistic as I can.. especially in relation to other people. At times when I debate about something though, then I'm a total realist.. :p So it's hard to say. :x
When i was still a child im more of the optimistic type. but as i grew up and become more acquainted with the world and how life goes, i become a realist.
I am an optimist when i wake up...I try to make the best out of every situation...
RyuuI prefer realism, but sometimes I go from pessimist, to optimist, to realist.
people say I'm an optimist girl... but I don't think so... I'm optimistique about everything else which doesn't concern me...
O_o?
well... ahm... sorry if you don't understand what I mean... I'm just not used to this question
sorry, not your fault... it's mine...
What ever... v_v"
Seriously i reckon everyone have a bit of all dat. you can't be JUST negative bcoz dat's not gud, howeva you can't always be optimistic too. at times it's gud 2 realise that this world is not so wonderful afterall, howeva accepting that fact and still livin on happily is a true optimist.
i have a friend she's a pessimistic most of da time but den at times she does kno how 2 appreciate things. whereas i'm an optimist but den i can't disagree with her when she says "ppl are just ugly" yep sum really are but den there are special exceptions ^-^
hope you get wat i'm tryin 2 say. also how you say u're a realism i have that in me too but den at times it's great 2 fantasise and dream. let our imagination and desire run wild but den don't 4get there are things you needa be down 2 earth about. so yeh a bit of everything is da best way i reckon

The world does spin to realism because we see what is real. Being a realism is a good way to see what is happening around you and to always realize the errors of your ways. Being passive is just a way to let time go by you. Like frozen in time. Being optimist, however, is seeing everything in a positive way, like positive thinking. But these types tend to run away often when things don't go their way and always avoid the harsh reality.
Guess I've been all over the spectrum, but I don't believe "realism" actually qualifies as the same category as the other two. Realism is simply an observation of states, it does not include an approach or additued to a situation or problem.
It didn't seem like it was so long ago that I was a pessimist and never saw the bright side of anything. Never expect anything good, and the result will always be better than you expect and you'll never be in for a surprise. But that's the funny thing because that entire philosophy depends on you always having a perfect grasp on the reality of the situation, and sometimes you don't and you can get hit like a freight train by something from left field.
Well I went through this bad part of my life where a girl dumped me and I went into this spiral. Out of it all my pessemism died and I ended up becomming a Nihilist O_o; I can't say it's a very healthy additude, but at lest I find the movie The Big Lebowsky like 10x more funny.
There was a time I thought it was impossible for me to be this way, but now I'm an optimist. I don't see having a full understainding of a problem as realism, it is simply comprehension. Seeing a positive light, and oportunities does not necessarily distort your views anymore than other views do. If you understand that problems only have the weight you give them, then overcomming them or accepting them becomes far easier.

Optimist make good things and realistic can moderate them. Pesimists views the world darker... lol simple no ?
Ideally I prefer Realism over Optimism and Pesimism.
I think its the middle way.
However, it is often hard to focus on reality in life..
In a bad mood, there can always be a bad side in a good situation.
In a good mood, a bad situation can be seen in a good light..
In reality, its just that. Nothing more, nothing less.
Our perception often prevents us from seeing the whole story
