but yeah I dont want to disable DHT completely I wish I could just limit it's connections at one time
disable DHT if you can't maintain enough connections without flooding NAT tables and hitting their soft limit
if the modem can be bridged, bridge it. its likely running a software NAT table with some crappy limits
the software on the modem is REALLY limited though
can I bridge my modem without the modem having any bridging options in the software? like somehow with my router?
